AI is already killing jobs in video games. My investigation for @Wired reveals that major studios are already using AI for concept art and asset generation, foisting AI trainings on games workers and that AI is playing a role in the mass layoffs that have roiled the field.
As we draw closer to our festival weekend, PCAF would like to reiterate our statement elaborating on our decision not to allow any AI-generated materials at Perth Comic Arts Festival. You can find our full statement on our website, and see our summary in the thread below. (1/4)
@Grummz That's too bad :( even though they made a clarification on their website, said they won't use the access to train their AI (Firefly AI), but who knows?

The Adobe controversy gets even worse. Adobe says they OWN WHAT YOU MAKE.
It's not just privacy issue. If you use Adobe software to create works, Adobe claims to have a license to everything you make to use as they see fit.
They can even sell it to someone else if they wish. (sublicense).
