@EngagesBrain@mrscmway I remember that too. I was 3. Forgot and tried to turn on the tap and nothing came out and got very upset! There was a standpipe in the street.
@HKane It has been wonderful to watch. But can’t deny yesterday was devastating. 60 years on from ‘66 and 40 years after the hand of God, it felt like the time was right. Hold your heads high on Saturday. Then regroup. And look ahead to the Euros. We’ll be with you all the way. 🏴🏴🏴
@RealPaulPutner I wandered down to the outdoor water tank while on a set visit for Ricky Gervais’ Extras - and saw the Venetian Palazzo from Casino Royale sink into the Grand Canal. The crew were very accommodating and showed us where to stand to get the best view.
@TheStingisBack Growing up in rural England, ET blew my mind. What on earth were M&Ms? Pizza - delivered to your actual house??? And I still want Halloween to consist of walking through suburban LA at sunset, not the cold, dark, damp experience it usually is here…
@MartinSLewis I did and loved the academic study (English literature). I was lucky to have gone when tuition fees were free but still left in debt, which was fully paid off within 5 years. I entered the world of work via a graduate agency so I would say it helped me in my career.
@KirstieMAllsopp I found an absolutely massive one in the corner of my new loft bedroom. Most likely emerged from one of the eaves cupboards. i think I’ll have some guests up there for a while…
@KirstieMAllsopp I went to see her and the cast of Rivals interviewed at the London Literature Festival last year. She was hilariously cheeky and full of her usual wit and sparkle. Adored her and her books and was so glad that she was part of a literary event. It is such sad news.
@wweisawesome123 I’m so sorry to hear this. I hope you are seeking professional support in whatever form you feel will work for you. I applaud you for being open about your struggles which may encourage others to seek help too. I hope things improve for you.
