It's a very odd feeling having this story finally see the light - I wrote it back in my undergrad days at Warwick, pre-covid, pre-manchester, pre-20s. A different person in a lot of ways, but this was one of the first pieces that sounded like what would become my writing voice 🤷‍♀️
