What is a Web3 role?

A Web3 role is simply a job but instead of working in a normal company like a bank, agency or tech startup, you work for a crypto project / blockchain project / NFT brand / DAO or an exchange.

Think of it like this☟

In Web2 you can work for Access Bank, MTN, Jumia, Shoprite etc.
In Web3 you can work for Binance, Solana, Arbitrum, a DeFi protocol, an NFT project, or even a DAO.

same idea but different environment.

But the way you get the job is actually different.

➛ CV
➛ years of experience
➛ connections

➥ In Web3 the most important thing is
what can you do today and what value can you add even if you’re still learning?

Let’s say you are good at writing threads.

In Web2 maybe you wait for an internship first.
In Web3 you can start writing threads breaking down projects today and people will see your skill publicly on X.
That can literally get you hired without work experience.

Same for:

be it full-time, part-time or task based.

And yes, anyone can break in if they put the effort into learning a skill and showing that skill publicly.
