Hi Dave, very sorry for the delay to your journey. There has been a road vehicle accident near the railway in this area, due to which trains needed to run at reduced speeds until an inspection could be completed to ensure that emergency services can attend safely without risk from the railway. Your train should start running at normal speeds again shortly. ^Van

As a self employed counsellor, high food, fuel and general inflation, 70% increase in local bus fares this year (50% increase 2 years ago), high public transport costs, frozen income tax threshold all make me worse off... How are you helping me? @JamesMacCleary

National Living Wage and the Pension Triple lock increased from April. Rail fares frozen. Extending free school meals, 5p fuel duty and capping bus fares at £3.
