@grumpytechbro@scrowder From what I’ve seen, it’s more like cosplay than anything else, they don’t actually think they’re animals. At least the majority of them don’t.
@TrevorL415 I don’t think you understand how large commercial aircraft can be. I suggest you do more research on the scale of these machines and how they actually work.
@gc2217@RoryTheSpaceGuy@AgainBertold @NetworkSandworm tf you mean “Always an excuse”. If you’re ONLY going to take a picture of the stars just use a fucking satellite lmao.
@mousexrp@ady624@planesanity A car pushing 220 km an hour is not the same as an airliner at cruising speed. It takes WAY more power and fuel to get that thing off the ground than it does to keep it up there. there’s also less drag at those higher altitudes as well.
@p0lar_fawn@InternetH0F F1 cars are capable of pulling several lateral G’s of both acceleration and deceleration, have no power steering, and no assisted brakes. The drivers must be able to handle it, hence the intense training.
@tutter77 @ilyyyRuby I mean to be fair the big bang lines up with the phrase “let there be light” pretty well. The big bang was likely be single brightest event to ever occur, EVER.
@tutter77 @ilyyyRuby Oh I think for myself, I also see for myself, I’ve looked through a telescope and seen Jupiter with my own eyes, as well as the ISS.
