@true0bIue The truth is, Japan’s state has a systemic issue with women. Post-WWII comfort stations for US troops were a proactive choice by the Japanese gov, not US pressure. Just like the "Karayuki-san" era, women were used to fund the state. Blaming "US colonization" misses the point.
@true0bIue Japanese media constantly portrays Japan as a WW2 victim. But it was the actions of Japanese men as perpetrators that turned women on the home front into victims later. Plus, most of those women were accomplices during the war anyway!
