@xai @Grok — I need a real answer on a billing charge, not “contact Apple.”

xAI charged my card $84.91 (Receipt #1874-8293, Jun 12, 2026 — see attached). I emailed support with the receipt and receipt number and asked what this charge is for. No itemized breakdown. No explanation.

Support told me to contact Apple for a refund. I did. Apple refunded 30.61** — I believe that was **SuperGrok**. That still leaves **54.30 xAI took with zero explanation of what it was for.

I asked support again: what is the $84.91 charge? Why are you keeping the rest? Why send me to Apple instead of answering? Same reply: contact Apple.

I don’t need a bot loop. I need someone at xAI to tell me what I was charged for and resolve the remaining amount.

Scary to give AI access to real things, today a company incident caused a flood of emails. 1 hour in i gave up, prompted claude to train on 1 hour email then help out. Rest of the day i could focus on my novel writing. Dont be a chicken, take advantage of your agents.

Just had the wildest AI writing experience.
Built my first chapter to my 15-book series Bible with Claude Sonnet 4.6. It completely missed the vibe. Pasted the same Bible into Grok Build… and it absolutely crushed it. The humor, the voice, the energy — I was shocked.
Then I gave everything to Opus. The first chapter was near perfect mixing grok and opus. So good I just let it keep going — now I have 7 chapters and the quality is insane.
Moral of the story: sometimes you need to mix multiple top models to get the perfect result.
Who else is running their AI models like a creative team? @elonmusk

@xai @elonmusk The improvements made by Grok Build made my yield +50–90%. That was nothing I expected as I tried to make this Bot with Grok earlier and it failed, so did minimax and Kimi. This experiment turns out to be over my expectations so Im back with Grok for now into my next project.

I built a polymarket trading bot with Claude Sonnet 4.6 with good results. When I got my hands on Grok build I challenge Grok to make the project better so it was polybot improvement Grok vs Claude and we have a clear winner. Grok Awesome! @xai @elonmusk

For others with the same problem I just updated my Grok Build the run /usage manage and it will take you to your grok settings where XAI now added payment options. Pictures show yesterday and today. Wish support could have informed me :-(

Tried /usage manage today. It only takes me to generic Grok Settings — no billing section, no top-up option, nothing.

Regular SuperGrok (non-Heavy) users get a monthly usage quota for Grok Build/agentic work that burns extremely fast. Support and low-credit emails direct to https://t.co/EXiFlP8uEg, but that’s the separate developer API product. Adding money there buys API credits, not SuperGrok usage.

How are non-Heavy subscribers supposed to buy more Grok Build credits when the included bucket runs out?
