Myth: a currency must earn interest.
Reality: a currency never earns interest, only lending out a currency earns interest.
Holding a currency is called "saving", lending out a currency is called "investing", borrowing a currency is called "financing".
I talk about Money, Finance and Economics, but I only care about it for 2 reasons
1. Options for my family
2. Helping others
Some friends and I started a dirtbike ride 14 yrs ago to raise money for an orphanage in Mexico, a few $$ then, today, we gave them almost half a mil!
well said @Excellion#bitcoin is apolitical, bearer, unseizable money. and that is what matters. stablecoins > CDBC. in fact CDBCs are systems of control, worse than bank accounts, certainly worse than paper cash, worse than stable coins, and much worse than #bitcoin.
I can't see a scenario where Coinbase succeeds if #bitcoin does not.
Ask yourself, in a scenario where #bitcoin wins, is $COIN worth 3.2% of 21,000,000?
As an investor, you should be evaluating bitcoin/crypto companies in $BTC terms.
