@Mr_S_Ont @katcol601 I’d say everyone is entitled to the sick days in their contract. How they use them is their choice. But I would also say part of the reason for the deficit is rehiring retired teachers to supply which I assume, is at a higher cost than a new graduate trying to get a job.

@CP24 Teachers are there, they just don’t hire them. Some people are doing LTO’s and supply teaching for years trying to get a contract. When they do hire “some”, it’s not those with experience, it’s family or friends, some fresh out of school.
