So sick…how can you wake up one morning and have this idea come to mind? How many more school shootings does it have to take for proper and protected gun laws to be enforced?
@Labelised_ @Bob75922883@wjec_cbac So true…you either coped well with it or you let the pressure get you which can affect your performance on a whole sometimes.
I’ve never ever sat an exam and had no idea what I was doing but today I didn’t have a clue. Always done good in maths but today was a load of 💩. You’d think after the last 2 yrs @wjec_cbac would make the AS unit 1 maths paper reasonably the same as the other years but no.

@wjec_cbac@emmatthewdenney Making a paper obviously harder by a great deal one year isn’t fairly differentiating abilities between students. Grades this yr will be greatly lowered compared to 2019, there’s a clear reason for that. How is that fair? You can’t increase the difficulty one yr and not the next
@Bob75922883@wjec_cbac Fair enough, that’s your opinion. But I’ve received an email from my college saying they have contacted wjec along with other college regarding that exam. So, the simple explanation “people clearly didn’t revise” obviously isn’t a valid one.
@AbbieWightwick@wjec_cbac Recently received an email from my college saying that they’ve been in contact with wjec along with other colleges regarding the maths as unit 1. So obviously it’s serious and is raising concern.
@Bob75922883@wjec_cbac I did revise, a lot as well but obviously it wasn’t good enough. But you can’t disagree with the fact that the style was completely different from other years.
But also want to say to whoever thinks they have done really bad, there’s nothing you can do to change that now so don’t dwell on it. Start revising for unit 2!!!
