Had interesting L-1011 Tristar flight in the 90's. Up over the Atlantic headed east, departed Germany to USA, cockpit announced something like, if recalling it close enough, folks, it's just not our day. Three hydraulic systems had failed, we're turning around. Going to Gatwick. Gatwick was waiting with firetrucks, EMT's, more. Was a sight to see looking out the PAX window.
