Last night I had the absolute privilege of listening to this man speak @davidsmithmbe 🎤🎤🎤

It was one of the most inspiring talks I’ve ever heard and it was told with such humility, honesty and openness.

David (forgive me if I get the details wrong) is a 2x World Champion and an Olympic Gold medalist! He’s beat cancer 5 times and in 2016 was paralysed but taught himself to walk again 😳😳😳

As well as all of that he’s overcome many other challenges and he does it in an extremely dominant way.

He’s a big believer in training the mind as well which I loved to hear.

At the end of the talk in the Q&A someone said he should write a book to which he replied…

“I have, I’ve written 90,000 words but every publisher I took it to turned it down and said it’d be hard to sell because I’m not a celebrity” 😳

When he said that it infuriated me and broke my heart at the same time.

So many people could learn so much from David’s journey.

I hope one day soon they change their minds so David’s story can be heard by the world.
