In the coming weeks, I will be releasing for sale a device I call SDR Guardian for hams with older radio gear to safely share a single antenna with their transceivers. Unlike anything currently available. Handles full legal limit. 100% bullet proof.
I've migrated 250 vids from You(suck)Tube to @rumblevideo. It's a painstaking process since they blocked Rumble from automatic migration. So far with enough subs I've been able secure https://t.co/pgrnd39iks. Please sub my other channels on Rumble too! Tnx!
My YouTube exodus has begun! 50 videos so far, starting with the very first on July 6, 2007. I will be working on this through the entire weekend if I must. ƒµ¢k YouTube. I'm done. All new content will be posted to my account https://t.co/U1ybkV5Nj3 Please follow. Thanks!
I just received a video takedown notice from YouTube on my coloidal silver video #379, claiming "medical disinformation". Then I discovered YouTube has blocked the Rumble video sync feature. Get ready, folks. The next plandemic is coming. Do not fall for it.
Serious question. I will be retiring in early 2025. Plan to stream live again and produce new videos for Rumble. Streaming to X requires a paid premium account. Would you watch if I do?
After comparing many designs, chose the 80m OCF Palomar formula, 29.5%/70.5%. Final length aftet much trimming, 126.06', 29.1%/70.9%. 80/40/20/15(cw)/12m, all <1.8-1 swr. 15m voice with tuner. Doesn't get much better.
@CogDevolut16777 You as well, sir. I'll see you on air soon! Did a deep dive on OCF theory last night. Realize 33%/66% was not the best choice. Going to make it 20%/80% before I really fire it up. Sucks it's going to rain all week. Maybe this weekend. Invitation to come help is still open! 😉
Merry Christmas everyone! Bought new toy. NanoVNA-H4. Updated the firmware. Built a cable adapter kit. Maybe not the specs of a Anritsu S331b but does everything I need. Even tracking gen for tuning cavities! Time to check my Windham. Fingers crossed! 🤞🤞🤞
It's worth noting that the glue which causes this problem had wicked way up inside the tunable inductor where I believe it had the greatest impact. I removed the core from the can to clean that off too. Had I not, I don't think the fix would have been as permanent.
Whew! 12 hrs on the table yesterday, but the operation is believed to have been a success. Operating room is warming up. The patient will be closed up soon, after which I will attempt to reawaken him.
Good news, the antenna is up. Bad news, my TS-440S has the dreaded dots. No PLL VCO lock. I know how to fix it. Clean the guaranteed to fail goop they used to "seal out moisture." It was on borrowed time. Still a PITA. And I was SO looking forward to tuning around a bit today. 😠
