I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran.

The Schoolboy Who Accidentally Slipped D-Day Secrets Into a Newspaper Crossword.

In May 1944, just weeks before the biggest invasion of World War II, British intelligence officers opened the Daily Telegraph and froze.

The crossword puzzles published between 2 May and 1 June contained several top-secret codewords: Utah, Omaha, Overlord, Mulberry, and Neptune, the exact names for the Normandy beaches, the overall operation, the artificial harbours, and the naval assault plan.

MI5 launched a full investigation. They arrested Leonard Dawe, the 54-year-old headmaster of Strand School (evacuated to Surrey) and the puzzle’s compiler.

Dawe and a colleague were interrogated intensely. They insisted they knew nothing about any military operation.

The real explanation came years later.

Dawe had a habit of calling sixth-form boys into his study to suggest words for the grid, then writing clues around them.

One of those boys, 14-year-old Ronald French, had been hanging around nearby American and Canadian troops preparing for D-Day. Security around the camp was surprisingly lax, and the soldiers chatted openly. Ronald picked up the codewords and casually suggested them as “interesting new words” for the puzzles.

Dawe used them without realising their significance.

MI5 eventually cleared everyone of espionage. The invasion went ahead on 6 June as planned. The Germans apparently never noticed the crosswords.

The @JewishLabour Movement now have @TheGreenParty in their sights. It is no coincidence that they’re now targeting @ZackPolanski and The Greens with the May elections on the horizon. This is a deliberate strategic move by Starmer and the Zionist lobby embedded in The Labour Party.

They will ramp up the attacks and employ their media assets in this endeavour, just as they did against Corbyn - assets at the highest level in every newspaper and MSM broadcast outlet.

If the Greens do well in the May elections like they did in the #GortonAndDentonByElection be prepared for the attacks, the smears, the defamation, the character assassinations and weaponised charges of antisemitism to go through the roof in the run up to the next election.

The USS Gerald R. Ford is not parked near Iran. It is parked off Israel. And nobody is asking the only question that matters: why.

The $13.3 billion crown jewel of the US Navy, the largest warship ever constructed, just positioned itself off Haifa. Not in the Arabian Sea where the Lincoln sits 850 kilometers from Iranian shores loaded for offensive operations. Not in the Gulf where strike range is optimal. Off Israel. Defending Israel.

This is not redundancy. This is architecture.

Two carriers. Two missions. Two entirely different strategic functions. The Lincoln is the sword, positioned to launch strike packages into Iranian airspace within hours of an order. The Ford is the shield, its Aegis missile defense systems creating an umbrella over Israeli population centers against the retaliation that follows the first Tomahawk.

America just split its carrier doctrine into offense and defense simultaneously. That has not happened since the Pacific theater in 1945.

But the positioning reveals something deeper than tactics. When Iran retaliates, and every wargame says Iran retaliates, its missiles and drones fly toward Israel. They will fly through the same airspace where a US carrier strike group is now stationed. Every Iranian missile aimed at Tel Aviv or Haifa must traverse the Ford’s defensive envelope. Shooting at Israel means shooting at, around, and through an American carrier group.

Iran cannot retaliate against Israel without engaging American naval assets. The Ford’s position makes that physically impossible. The carrier is not defending Israel as a favor. It is positioned so that any Iranian response to American strikes automatically becomes an attack on American forces, triggering the full unrestrained weight of US military response without a single additional political decision required.

This is escalation insurance written in steel and seawater. If the campaign goes longer than planned, if munitions run thin in 7 to 10 days, if allies hesitate, the Ford’s position ensures that Iranian retaliation does the political work Washington cannot do alone: it transforms a limited American strike into an act of self-defense that no ally can refuse to support.

You do not park a $13.3 billion carrier where the enemy’s return fire will hit it unless you want the enemy’s return fire to hit it.

Predictably, the Guardian is stoking the outrage machine over a Bristol school cancelling a visit by local Labour MP Damien Egan. Like other media, the paper is duping readers by suggesting this is evidence of "antisemitism". Egan is Jewish.

In fact, the cancellation has nothing to do with Egan's Jewishness.

The visit was called off after mounting complaints from Bristol teachers and parents, who oppose genocide and don't want impressionable young minds exposed to someone who defends a state committing the ultimate crime against humanity.

In other words, unlike the Labour party and media like the Guardian, Bristol teachers and parents actually have a moral backbone.

Bristol constituents know much more than Guardian readers about Egan, thanks to their independent local paper the Bristol Cable.

Egan is vice-chair of Labour Friends of Israel – that's the same Israel currently committing genocide in Gaza. He went on an Israeli-sponsored visit to Israel shortly after the genocide began. And he has taken money from major pro-Israel lobbyists like Trevor Chinn.

Steve Reed, the communities secretary who made the matter public, threatened that those behind the cancellation "will be held to account" and that "you cannot have people with those kinds of attitudes teaching our children".
