I believe it most certainly referred to the “promised land” as that is where it appears the greatest concentration of the nephilim bloodline remained. That said, eradication was obviously the directive everywhere, hence their divinely assisted defeat on account of Esau and Lot’s descendants.
@OMApproach Destruction, I disagree. Rather, mastery/control.
Chaos, yes. “Sin,” not so sure.
Defining these ancient Near Eastern concepts is difficult for our 21st century minds.
@JimWindweather@ryanhallyall Yep, kudos. Not cannibalistic - model got that very wrong, and was magnetically aligned, which as I understand is always a crap shoot. You earned a follow yesterday, and it was reinforced overnight 👍
Fair enough. I actually saw it less as a technical post and more or less to the average layperson…
“The sun recently did something, sent some screaming plasma our way… depending on how earth’s shield holds up potentially consider watching for some pretty colors in tonight’s northern skies”
Yes, I realize I’m inferring the aurora part
The idea of a single prominent future “Antichrist” is nonsensical. If we’re going to use a biblical term - “antichrist,” let’s at least trust the accuracy of the actual biblical definition of the term - “anyone (plural) who denies that Jesus was the Christ and came in the flesh.” Otherwise, you’re just buying into the “official” eschatological narrative du jour hook, line and sinker.
We cannot take a 2000-year-old word and apply a 21st century definition to it when the original term was actually defined in the source material.
@zachariaspro Should be retesting 60k soon. Might have a nice little rebound afterward, then if history is any indication down to the market cycle bottom ~October
This shows ~1,200 years of seawater erosion of the Khafre Pyramid, compressed into one minute.
For the first ~500 years a high ocean stand holds about 300 ft above the base; its waves lap the soft Tura limestone casing and dissolve it (carbonic acid) at roughly 0.08 ft/year — about one inch of perpendicular recession annually, and ~14× faster than the slow dissolution on submerged surfaces below.
As the sea recedes, it then pauses at successively lower stands, each held ~75–100 years, and each carves a distinct horizontal band where the casing is stripped to the bare core. Loosened blocks slough off at their own pace and fall down each face, piling into talus that mounds toward the center of all four sides.
The smooth white cap above the highest waterline is never reached and survives intact.
I hate to say it, but the online community (specifically X, but also YouTube to a degree) is the closest thing I’ve found to an interactive, intelligent and stimulating “church” experience that I’ve encountered since college in the late 90s. “Where two or three are gathered” is more than simply geographical in my experience.
@OMApproach None. Pretty sure ones and zeros cannot consciously deny the incarnation of Jesus. Look to the past, not the future, if you’re searching for eschatological “antichrists.”
Now try to figure out how to explain that Genesis 1 details God’s creating order from chaos after the Gothenburg geomagnetic excursion, and that it’s been 6ooo years since the Noahic inundation, not creation. Yeah, I probably wouldn’t bring that up at Thanksgiving dinner.
Good luck 👍
@URtheirProduct@EthicalSkeptic Kentucky, born and raised my friend. Magna Cum Laude, Freed-Hardeman University. Cum Laude, Southern College of Optometry. So much orange around me during those years I felt like I was at a garbage truck workers’ convention 😜
