Travelling, and living far away from home, is a funny kind of education.
It's ironic how it takes travelling away from Nigeria, to fully realize how Nigerian you really are, how indelible it is that you'll always be Nigerian. And that it's the same for everyone else.
When when people leave Nigeria, it seems like they also leave behind all that is Nigerian within them. But no. Leaving is like being Achilles. You're dipped into, and washed in a new sea, but your heels remain undone.
