From fighting scammers to running communities🏴
I’ve spent the last few years in Web3 doing much more than “moderating chats.”
Most of my work has been around community, security, operations, and making sure things actually run.
Here’s the short version of how that evolved.
Russia is finally giving me a reason to leave.
I was born here and spent most of my life here. Just a week ago, I moved back into my childhood home.
I thought I was coming home. I didn’t expect this to be the beginning of goodbye.
@TheUTuberX I came back to my family home after some time, and right away I found that my plot had been damaged and part of the bathhouse had burned down; I couldn’t feel safe there.
11/11
I’m not betting against my future because the present got difficult.
I’ll adapt, rebuild, and keep creating.
I don’t know every move ahead. I don’t need to.
The goal isn’t to control every event. It’s to become someone who can handle whatever comes next.
10/11
A change of location doesn’t mean starting from zero.
You take your experience, your skills, your relationships, and everything you’ve learned with you.
The scenery changes. The mission doesn’t.
And sometimes a new environment is exactly what you need to level up.
6/6
Maybe this is my signal to move on.
I can respect where I came from without staying there forever.
I don’t know exactly what comes next. But I know I want to build my future somewhere else.
Sometimes leaving isn’t betrayal. It’s choosing your life.
The hardest part is realizing I should’ve considered leaving earlier.
You grow roots somewhere and start believing that home will always be home.
But loyalty to a place shouldn’t mean ignoring what living there is becoming.

KEEP ONE. Choose wisely 👽
one of the most valuable and easiest content formats for VCs to produce:
when you're considering investing in a startup, you already spend a ton of time researching the market, talking to industry experts, understanding the competition, and figuring out where the real opportunities are
by the end, you have a pretty solid understanding of the space. you know the biggest problems, how people are solving them, what's changing, and where the market might be heading
then you make a decision: invest or pass
and that's what makes the research especially interesting. you've done enough work to make an actual investment decision, so there's real conviction behind your conclusions
so why not turn that research into content?
basically, an anonymized investment memo without the numbers, focused on the market and product category rather than a specific startup. if you passed on the deal, you could also share more specific feedback privately with the founders, including the reasons behind your decision
it's valuable for everyone:
- founders, especially those just entering the space, get a much better understanding of the market
- other investors can use it to get up to speed and know what questions to ask when a similar startup approaches them
- agencies and service providers can better understand the industry's challenges and tailor their offerings to potential clients
you're already doing the hard part. might as well turn it into something useful for others
