Dear friends and supporters,

Today we have received 3 cats from Lattakia. One was born blind. One was taken to a clinic but the operation wasn't successful and her eyes were permanently damaged in the attempt to save them, and the third one had her eyes enucleated by our vets today in a last attempt to save her life. The skills our vets have are just not available in other clinics.

Tomorrow we will be receiving a delivery of cats from Tartous in the hopes that we can save them as all of them have serious health problems. We will do all that we can.

There is also a crisis in Idlib with the amount of viral illnesses that are running amok. We haven't been able to run our usual vaccine campaigns this year because of a shortage of donations. But now we need to unashamedly beg for your help.

One of the current viruses wreaking havoc in the community is Chlamydia. Highly contagious and causing eye problems, lung problems, and cat flu like symptoms. It is common where cats live together and it will be a disaster if it comes into our sanctuary.

With your help,we want to buy a 5 in 1 vaccine this year which includes some protection against chlamydia.

Slightly more expensive than our usual ones, we really do need your help again.

We have opened a link in our website shop. Just 15 euros will help with vaccine protection and spay/neuter for 1 cat. Our initial purchase will be 250 vaccines. With your help we think this is achievable.
