People who have a unique perspective on protocols (or want to dig deep into an aspect of them), broadly speaking 😄
Doesn't need to be crypto, or even technical. Looking for thinkers & tinkerers, regardless of domain or affiliation 👀
i give Yuga the benefit of the doubt this time. bitcoin is a big tent, glad to have them.
be trustless next time! we should prioritize a good UX in the meantime.
a trustless auction that works is 10x better than waiting a week for yuga to return failed bids.
"Security inherited from X" means that you only need to run the full node of X to ensure the validity of the protocol Y that inherits from X. If you also need to run a full node of Y, then you at most inherit some security from X.

@toghrulmaharram@colludingnode@toly if an L2 implements consensus rules for their sequencers to coordinate, doesn't that just decouple it from the L1 and by doing so only uses the L1 for DA and/or settlement checkpointing?
So many threads written by so many people who have no clue what they’re talking about, read by those who have even less of a clue
At least the next bull market will have tons of exit liq
@jadler0 when you say FuelVM can be plugged into any L1, how readily pluggable is this to L1s like Ethereum or a Polkadot parachain?
Don't you have to rewrite parts of the VM to align with the L1 settlement layer rules, especially if they use Account-Balance style and not UTXO?
It's one month today since I joined the Web3 arm of a certain Venture Capital firm.
So far my first 30 days have been about surveying the L2 landscape on #Ethereum and unique developments like @aztecnetwork.
My first full internal report should be ready by January, excited!
