@blind_via I wouldn't be good enough to make these current paths :) -- this was fully from scratch (schematic + placement + routing), and the site displays a clipped version. Video being updated shortly to reflect both placement + routing.

@Philfreeze96 @QVHenkel You have to nudge it in the right direction (either via prompt or harnessing), but it is definitely capable of schematic organization for smaller designs. Agree that it's super annoying when it puts net labels on every component -- this was a big problem with Sol.

@QVHenkel Thank you. Imperfect but good start. Schematic and layout were done end-to-end from a PRD that I had Astra generate -- video on the release page currently clips the placement stage (will be updated soon to show these). The artifact isn't public but I can look into releasing it.

Computer Use in Astra has crossed a threshold where it is now a core capability of a flagship release. It is the culmination of many months of intentional work across many teams at OpenAI. There are still kinks being ironed out, but I expect we will soon reach the “coding moment for computer use” where we will all look back and find it odd that people used to manually take actions on computers at all.
