We don’t pimp just raise awareness: “Bitcoin will not be eagerly adopted by the mainstream, it will be forced upon them. Forced, as in "compelled by economic reality" https://t.co/MLJq4UJFwt
Humans have a 'fairness indicator' built into our brains. 'Bitcoin maximalists' completely ignore this when pimping their currency: they want world to drop local $ and adopt theirs, greatly enriching early adopters. This is huge hole in their plan. Behavioral economics are real.
I don't even pay attention to politics anymore. I just find it so wasteful & dysfunctional & stupid. Save it. I don't want to hear it. The only thing that I care about is sound money. Bitcoin is the soundest form of money we’ve ever had.
@LawrenceLepard
@planbparaguay Big difference: Panama fully participates in CRS — your bank automatically reports to your home country. Paraguay still only shares info on specific request (not automatic).
Spammers can broadcast anything they want AS LONG AS ITS A CONSENSUS VALID TX, and it'll reach a pool or miner, and there isn't ANYTHING you can do about it.
That's what makes Bitcoin censorship resistant.
"It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle.
Now go stack some fucking bitcoin!
@MrHodl Also every yolo lottery miner that gets lucky and finds a block, is a tax on the professional miners that get their cake reduced. Long term, mining is only viable for wasted/stranded energy, for heat, or for ideological reasons(to support the network)
@JethroToro It's sort of a middle ground, it works pretty much like a cast iron pan in terms of seasoning and care, but it's lighter with faster heat transfer. Also carbon steel IMO is easier than cast iron for forming and maintaining its seasoning
