@edgeX_exchange We all know edgeX supply was being controlled by a few insiders with a low float.
If you care about transparency at all you will name the counterparties / MM agreements which lead to these events.
Perpl was the #2 fee generating app on @monad in the last 24H
the data is curious when you look at it: how can $1.2M in a perp DEX generate more fees than @Morpho (100x TVL) or @eulerfinance (80x TVL) or @Uniswap (10x TVL) on the same chain?
the answer is surprisingly simple: trading is the one thing in crypto that has true PMF.
crypto users love to trade crypto.
and when they come onchain, they prefer to trade perps.
it's great to see the early adopting Monad natives so bulled up on our badge program (they trade a lot of NFT so iykyk)
but when your private beta generates more fees in a day than users are allowed to deposit (still $10k guys, sorry) it's hard to convince your growth guy that you need to run another 100M simulations before you raise caps.
don't worry, the compute is present and accounted for
(I admit I have a P99.9999 obsession)
results pending....
in any case, more exciting announcements coming soon
UV levels will be extremely high this summer
@Ksidiii@bp22 incredibly fun to watch him play poker as well. very non traditional style and people underrate how he made the final table of a million pound buy-in Triton tournament
Love to see the game theory on @perpltrade badge campaign play out as planned as users competed for volume right into the last minute.
The margin between the top tier and the second best ended up being ~$15k.
119 total badges. Sounds rare.
AI can give researchers the freedom to pursue “crazier” ideas.
For Terence Tao, AI creates more room to experiment, test unexpected paths, and discover what might otherwise stay out of reach.
@jeremybernier you must be AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to work with
appreciate you spreading racism against high-performing Asians
looking forward to your next post detailing the Indians at Amazon, deeply curious for your thoughts on how every race smells
"Prices of uranium have not gone anywhere, something must be wrong"
Meanwhile the term price continue to grind upwards. As long as that's the case, I am not worried
when I signed up for a budget LatAm airline I expected the website to at least work in case I needed to change my flight...
brother how are you coordinating international voyages and your webapp is throwing 400s and 404s for the most basic requests ?????
brb gonna hammer their server with POST requests and attempt to reverse engineer their client portal, looks like very little auth in place
@avianca I'm not DDOS'ing you guys I swear
if engineers knew what features to build, they wouldn’t be engineers, they’d be entrepreneurs
of course there are exceptions to the rule, but I don’t see any signal in this
most employees at large companies are TOLD what to build, very few DECIDE what to build. even out to the senior level,
the discretion tends to be on the HOW not the WHY.
Why would you think throwing them thousands in API credits would change anything?
enjoy the dashboards ig
Uber’s COO has said that it’s getting “harder to justify” its AI costs because there was no way to show a link between AI spend and any meaningful increase in useful features. This is the first time I’ve seen a company say this directly.

@polynoamial to quote Kasparov: “"The strongest chess player is neither a human or a computer, but a team of humans with a computer."
this will be true of all fields
yea when you do this with derivatives on liquid instruments it’s called market manipulation
see: ongoing situation between JS and SEBI regarding index manipulation of Indian stocks
@NoelSmith very interesting read. didn’t realize Central Banks use effectively “stale marks” for NAV of their reserves
scary to think about cases where governments book PnL and expand fiscal policy further instead of reducing liability tho
You totally get it. Watching the team keep rolling out new MIPs at the pace they have been is a beautiful thing to see.
Really does convince me that the team genuinely sees TGE as the beginning, not the end.
Very few L1s can say that.
I’m super excited for the encrypted mempool stuff. Good chance that Perpl will be the first perps venue with encrypted orderflow.
truly concealing your behavior on the internet and in crypto is quite hard. Combine that with a small set of people that had access to the same information + Google fully cooperating, it becomes a game of probability. It’s theoretically possible to hide it, but practically close to impossible.
