@Tszunami1@karbonbased Try that again but with a single city instead of a whole country. # of robberies per 100,000 people. Classic europoor can't fathom that a criminal won't try something against someone with a gun
Doing a PPP memecoin experiment that might or might not involve airdrops.

Today, we come together with heavy hearts to bid farewell to an internet legend, an embodiment of joy, and a symbol of kindness - Doge, the beloved Shiba Inu known as Kabosu. The Doge who touched millions of hearts is now one amongst the stars, wagging her tail looking down at the legacy she has left🥹
Your internet family will miss you. All our love goes out to @kabosumama and family🫂💛
Imagine there’s a fund. Or two. Or twenty. They got ridiculed in movies, on podcasts, in the court of public opinion, you know who they are. They shorted some obscure, decadent stocks for more than the full circulating float, some years ago.
It was pandemic times, people where scared, alone, at home, with mounting debt and the feeling that the end of times might actually be near. Powerless.
They liked these stonks for the nostalgia, a brick and mortar idea of better times. As uninvestable as and as obsolete as this generation of misfits, forgotten.
And that was the whole fucking point.
Then this this cat, mild mannered, funny, wholesome, lit the match. One soft spoken meme at a time.
Every attempt of mitigation, every blatant manipulation, every loud mouthed “expert” just poured gasoline on the fire.
You all know how the story went. Buy buttons got disabled. The mounting rage and spite of plebs like you and I got hosed down. We had a king is naked moment, immortalized forever in finance folklore, and then everything went back to normal.
Or did it.
Fast forward to 2024. Inflation is still rampant, even the middle class is struggling to put a roof over their family’s heads, there’s global instability, a looming world war, an ever expanding wealth gap, and social tensions compounded by shock content on every social media app. People are struggling. An overarching, smothering regime where freedom to transact is choked one new ban at a time, where the right to privacy is a crime, where “why do you care if you got nothing to hide” is the backwards logic spouted from the hand above, wich acts at a whim, unpunished, capricious. Our rules not applying to them.
So a Kitty roars again after a silence of three years. He tweets out a meme. And another one. And another one. They hit right in the feels. Poweful, fast paced. They wake up that rage. The Kitty is now properly counseled. No stocks are mentioned. Nothing financial at all, matter of fact. And yet our good ‘ol favourite stonks go on an absolute fucking rampage within a day, tripling in hours.
These same stocks, years later, still disproportionately shorted. Even after a 90% retrace from the top. It’s just Ubris at this point. Spite. A monicker to what happens if you stand up. They feel untouchable again, and we, a mockery.
But you can feel the underbelly roaring. The rage. The sense of unvindicated injustice. A system that slowly boils you, one degree at a time, with no way out. A choking rat race where all they ask of you is everything.
The ex SEC chair went on TV today and said: “whether it’s illegal or not, should we be tolerating this in our markets?”
Read that again. They are saying the quiet part out loud. Should WE BE TOLERATING, whether illegal or not.
Tolerating freedom to transact? Freedom to tweet out unrelated unfinancialized memes? Tolerating freedom altogether?
This is madness.
I’m not naive. I know how shit goes. I know none of this is ideal, not all intensions are pure, and there are a ton of unknowns and incognitas. I know some will get hurt in the process. But this is desperation. Of a generation lost, scared, that wants to send a message. Of an empire ready to collapse under the weight of it’s arrogance. Our banner, a guy who in front of state officials opened his statement with “I’m not a financial advisor, and I’m not a cat either”. Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need.
First they thwarted the meme stocks, and I did not speak out—
Because I did not own ‘em.
Then they choked crypto freedom, and I did not speak out—
Because I wasn’t a crypto trader.
Then they censored online forums, and I did not speak out—
Because I did not post there.
Then they came for my digital rights, my freedom—
And there was no one left to speak for me.
Sometimes I just gotta close my eyes and believe in something. I like the stock ✊
