It's inspiring to see tens of thousands of community members secure life-changing wealth as part of the Hyperliquid genesis event. Importantly, none of these people were insiders. They:
1) believed in the vision for a better financial system when no one else would
2) acted on that conviction by using and building upon the nascent technology, bootstrapping an unstoppable financial network
The Hyperliquid genesis pays homage to the original ethos of Bitcoin: ownership goes to the believers and doers, not rent-seeking insiders.
For all you early believers, thank you for the unwavering faith and support. Hyperliquid would be nowhere without you all. I'm grateful and honored to be building alongside you.

Looking back, we've come a long way. But looking ahead, there's so much further to go.
Finance is humanity's greatest invention. It is the only effective way to coordinate human effort across time and space. Yet, the legacy financial system contradicts its underlying goal of empowering individuals:
- it is opaque and centralized
- it is owned and operated by privileged insiders
- it doesn't embrace technological innovation to better serve users
Hyperliquid is the evolution of finance. And Hyperliquid has not succeeded until it houses all of finance. If you're reading this now, you're still early. The new financial system welcomes you with open arms.
👀 Extra HL points... not only October confirmed but also November now!

Of course that's your contention. You’re a defi reseachoooor who is shilling a perp dex with 8 users. You just got finished readin' some Hyperliquid FUD tweets, StackingEUR probably.
You're gonna be convinced of that 'til next month when you get to Crnkovic-Rubsamen and you'll be convinced that DYDX is superior because it’s 'more decentralized.' You’ll cling to that until Hyperliquid decentralizes its validator set, and then you’ll shift gears, maybe talking about how Hyperliquid doesn’t have the same depth of liquidity as Binance.
--- Well, actually, I think DYDX is still better because it’s already decentralized, and Hyperliquid’s airdrop is just gonna be underwhelming ---
Oh, the airdrop? That’s your big point? You think Hyperliquid’s airdrop is gonna be a letdown? Let me guess, you got that from a tweet, probably from a team member from a competing dex or L1, if we can really call it a competition, when there are plenty of sidelined capital waiting to bid the HL token at TGE. And tell me this, did you even bother looking at the depth of liquidity on Hyperliquid? Probably not. Because if you did, you’d know that on many pairs, Hyperliquid’s liq depths almost matches those of top cexes. But no, you’d rather just echo the same tired arguments about decentralization because that’s what everyone else is parroting this week.
See, the sad thing about a guy like you is, in a few months, when Hyperliquid is fully decentralized and it is competing toe-to-toe with Binance, you’ll start thinking for yourself. And when you do, you’re gonna realize there are two certainties in life:
One: Points are going to $800.
Two: You dropped a hundred and fifty grand trying to farm a dex that'll never TGE, and getting liquidated in the process.
Good luck, $hfun fading Hyperliquid.
