The FEYNMAN technique of learning:
STEP 1 - Pick and study a topic
STEP 2 - Explain the topic to someone, like a child, who is unfamiliar with the topic
STEP 3 - Identify any gaps in your understanding
STEP 4 - Review and Simplify! 🧠
@BillyM2k How though? Many people are so identified with ideas that they become belligerent after merely questioning (in good faith) a particular idea, let alone attacking it. The question is misinterpreted as a personal attack and prevents any intelligent discourse.
I’m all for free speech, but would also love a “Mute All” button that is essentially the inverse of the “Follow All” button when I mute someone like Jim Jordan.
@elonmusk announcing that Twitter will be deleting half of all accounts at random is the caliber of chaotic plot twist that I secretly wish I could witness.
@RyanSAdams Toxicity and insecurity typically go hand in hand in all aspects of life. Is anyone working on a ML algorithm that can assess community toxicity? This would be an interesting metric when it comes to looking into various projects.
3️⃣ Deeply knowing you true self is cruicial. You don’t actually need that much money to be happy ($80k). And If enjoyment of life isn’t your metric for success, wtf are you doing? So many people are playing the money game as if there’s a winner at the end. There isn’t.
0️⃣ I guess I’m moving back to this account for cohesive usernames on social media. Current state is all over the place. Not sure whether I’ll be posting about #crypto or #consciousness. I’ve been on a peculiar journey, so I’ll find a niche somewhere, blending disparate domains.🧵
2️⃣ The ideal community in my mind are those who grok crypto, but also practice things like mindfulness. There’s a lot of money to be made in the space, but also can be easy to succumb to greed. Balance is key.
@evankuo@AmpleforthOrg@njess@jyenners I’m a crypto dummy and even I know that if Elon wanted to, he could send the price to the ground tomorrow in an instant if he wanted to.
