It's 1am and I should be asleep but there are words inside me that have been forcing their way to the surface these last few days, and it's time to try and blurt them out.
I've refrained on commenting on the chaos too much but I would now like to call for one thing: Empathy 🧵
Need I remind you that the keyword here is “betting” and that 98% of all the NFT projects right now including most of the ones that y’all classify as having “great teams” have no premise of IRL utility or value at all.

A thread🧵 about #NFTs
When 12 and 13-year olds were making six figures in NFT projects that had no future value, everyone was singing their praises. Now, the @ThePixelmon team were able to have people believe in their dream and future plans so much

that they willingly spent 3TH on a mint while being fully aware of their timelines for delivery and y’all are making side comments about betting on the right team and great marketing.

I couldn’t have said it any better. In one discord server, I was put on a 24-hour timeout for pointing out obvious errors in the team’s delivery. Now they’re having a hard time.
If you or anyone else gets banned/blocked from Discord/Twitter by an NFT project for asking legitimate questions or voicing legitimate concerns, it's immediately a very red flag. It stands for everything that Web3 doesn't stand for https://t.co/hCSuLnzJOf
13/ What most don't know is that NFTs can do more. MUCH MORE than just be a JPEG/art piece.
They're NOT just collectibles.
Those that realize this and experiment with the "more", are who I can see transitioning well here.
Sometimes, building is exciting. Other times, it can be exhausting. Shoutout to all the Entrepreneurs, Founders and Builders that have to manage this roller coaster of emotions everyday and still commit to creating value. #buildinpublic#web3
Here are some things I have learnt about the #NFT space.
1. Partnerships are key (Most of the top guys that we all follow and listen to are either friends or partners).
2. Introverted people are less likely to build out successful projects than their extroverted peers.
@mecdot Mec heard your spaces and felt real inspired. Your clarity of thought and then putting across those thoughts in conversation was a great learning opportunity. Thank you!

@themetroverse I would say the rarest would be two rivers intersecting because on one part, rivers are natural bodies and so it would only be possible to have a river pathway where there is access to a naturally occurring water body. To have two rivers intersecting would definitely be RARE! 🤯
