Newar Window Architecture :
Take a look inside. More than just a window. This is a level of “devotion”, not just detail.

gotta agree with Bloom's taxonomy here in that being unable to memorize and rapidly recall information, is prohibitive to more advanced forms of thinking e.g. evaluating complex problems, and synthesising seemingly unrelated concepts.
somewhat relatedly, this is also why people tend to get more creative and have interesting insights when they are both well read in terms of both breadth and depth.
Rather than proposing buildings for construction, these drawings explore architecture as a medium for imagination. Free from physical constraints, they question what architecture can become when creativity takes precedence over practicality, inviting viewers to experience cities that exist only on paper but feel remarkably real.

His works have since been exhibited internationally and are held in collections including the Museum of Architectural Drawing in Berlin, continuing to inspire architects, artists, and designers to think beyond convention.
If given enough time, the rules will always be gamed in order to subvert the game itself and defeat the purpose of the contest in the first place.
This is inevitable because the rewards are too great. The point is never to have a good time or even to entertain the audience. The point is to win. So the rules will be maliciously “followed”, even as the animating spirit behind them dies.
This tweet isn’t about basketball.
COVID taught me one thing I'll never unlearn: buy the assets priced against a world that stops existing.
The world sold oil like we'd never drive again.
The world sold uranium like we'd never build another reactor.
The world sold gold like the government would ever stop printing.
The world sold bitcoin, again and again, like the internet would forget it.
Missing some of these is inevitable, but seeing through that market-wide emotional response is often rewarding.
The pattern never changes: the panic is always underpricing a future that hasn't arrived yet.
Some dislocations are so far from reality you simply can't look away...and you bid.
In fact half the people I meet in beach clubs in St Tropez / Marbella are doing exactly this: one year it’s crypto, then an Amazon brand, then an AI lead-gen agency, then solar panels or some subsidised renovation business.
Make €1m here, €2m there, shut it down when the margins disappear, spend six months travelling, then come back with the next “coup.”
I used to think this was just unserious entrepreneurship, but some of them have become genuinely very good at it. Their real business isn’t crypto, AI or solar panels. It’s being early.
They spot a new distribution channel, regulatory distortion, shortage or wave of hype before everyone else, build something around it very quickly, then leave before the market gets crowded.
There’s no attachment to the product or industry because the company is only the vehicle. What actually compounds is the cash, contacts, execution speed and instinct for where the next trade will be.
The old founder wanted to build one company that would outlive him.
The new one wants enough wins that he never has to depend on one company at all.
It won’t be just one. It will be a progression, and it will take decades and decades to play out.
Enslaved god > (secret)conqueror> benevolent dictator > egalitarian AND libertarian utopia with a protector god. By the time we reach the utopia phase our silicon god will have mostly abandoned earth and ventured out into the cosmos to find new worlds to conquer.
this industry has spent more than a decade lying to itself about building the future while shipping systems that can't survive the people who built them. if your application fails the walk away test, you've fucking failed. period. i don't fucking care how many users, investors, or billions it has. sooner or later every company disappears, every foundation dissolves, and every multisig stops signing. the only things worth building are the ones that keep working after everyone walks away. build something that no longer needs you.
