The big inventions are behind us: from 2016 to 2021 we basically figured out every major primitive (high-throughput L1s, L2s, DeFi, AMMs, PMs, oracles). This is common in the history of technology. The most important ideas behind the Internet were figured out in the early 90s; the next 30 years were mostly just scaling it up.
That's where crypto is now. What's left is implementation, UX tuning, and optimization. Which feels different, because it is.
It's a sign of a mature technology. And it's a necessary phase in any technology that actually wins.

Today was Polymarket. found a market on what Trump says in his Lindsey Graham tribute, Fere flagged it high confidence, ~20% estimated return, entry around 81-82 cents. checked the whale positions first, no big money in it, so low manipulation risk.
Funded $210, placed the trade.

Here’s two different prediction markets priced at ~6.5%:
1. Will the US confirm the existence of Aliens in 2026?
2. *that* Spurs @ Knicks Game 4, ~4th quarter.
They suggest that both these events are the same probability, but intuitively these feel very different: the latter (Knicks won!) feels a lot more uncertain. But prediction markets don’t immediately give us a way to quantify it.
