12/ I hope to continue receiving grants from foundations and donations from individuals, as it enables me to take on higher risk for unique cases that others may not consider viable.
For this case, I fronted $349.7K and lost 5% on each order, with no guarantee Jimmy wouldn't disappear with the funds, and an unknown amount of personal risk from dealing with the syndicate.
Since 2022, I have helped action $75M+ in freezes related to DPRK incidents.
My findings were immediately shared with trusted investigators within the private sector and law enforcement assigned to the case.
Due to sensitivity around the investigation, I was unable to publish sooner.
That is one of the frustrations I have with my work. I am not always able to share findings as quickly as I'd like, and I am currently sitting on significant findings from other cases.
If this case resonates with you and you're in a position to support it, feel free to reach out.
@DavidBCollum The blaze can go on for years and years, as it has. Should we miss all the beautiful music because at some point in the future, who knows when, there will definitely be a fire?
@NickTimiraos@mikeallen Now i see why this supposedly brilliant investor is in the Trump administration. He responds to all challenges with derision, taunts, defensiveness, "fake news'" "rigged' etc and refuses to engage in a reasonable dialogue on simple very simple questions. Sounds like a child
@DiamondHandsDig Yes but if they leave, equality goes down. I'm not saying tax them to generate revenue. I'm saying tax them to reduce inequality. If they stay, they're taxed hard, inequality goes down. If they leave, inequality is reduced by eliminating the top % of wealth concentration.
@DiamondHandsDig Then let them move. Its not our problem, let the rest of the world deal with oligarchy in their own way. People fail to appreciate what an enormous psychosocial stressor high inequality is. It's literally bad for our physical and mental health. Lots of research showing that.
@Bizniz203@Nike This is like the opposite of aspirational branding. Associate your brand with something everyone is working very hard to not turn into.... Brilliant!
@ThePortfolioLog@HolySmokas Hasn't had meaningful quarterly revenue growth since 2023. That is why the stock is down. Market is forward looking so no growth = no price appreciation
@JoDivaRunner@japan_nobunaga Associating an athletic shoe brand with extreme obesity (she isn't just a little chunky) does not inspire me to buy the shoe. Its the opposite of an aspirational ad, is this is what we're all working very hard to avoid frankly.
