> $SKHY just announced a 40T KRW ($28.5B) buyback. The scale is wild when you put it next to daily market flows.
> Largest buyback and cancellation in Korean market history, 3.3% of shares outstanding
> Executed over 3 months, roughly 600B KRW ($430M) of buying per trading day
KOSPI daily net flows: retail ~$136M, foreign ~$214M, institutional ~$70M (aug 11)
> One single buyer matching the entire market’s combined daily flow, every day, for 3 months (tbd)
> Shareholder return policy also raised from “up to 50% of FCF” to “50%+”, with more on dividends coming at Q3 earnings
> $MU and $SNDK pledge “100% of excess cash” which sounds bigger, but that’s cash left after funding investments and balance sheet needs, not 100% of FCF. Different denominators, not directly comparable
Most event write-ups are recaps: attendance, agenda, atmosphere. They prove an event happened. They don't explain why it was built that way.
A while back we wrote about the design logic behind Creao's (@CreaoAI) Demo Day in Silicon Valley, an event for content creators with one simple ask: build your own Agent workflow, on-site. We've now turned that piece into a 90-second video.
What it covers:
1/ Work backwards from goals. We set three objectives first (activation, distribution, relationships) and only then picked the format. A Demo Day was the format that could carry all three at once.
2/ Design participation intensity. We used the Yerkes-Dodson curve to keep the room in the useful zone: a clear build task and light public pressure from demos and voting, plus templates, credits and on-site support to lower anxiety.
3/ Behavior has to be designed. Creators don't lack motivation. They lack ability and a prompt, so the event was built to supply both.
4/ Distribution comes from participants, not the host. The most shareable material isn't your recap. It's what attendees made themselves, so those moments are planned in advance.
5/ "The energy was great" is not an evaluation. The signal that matters is whether the workflow traveled back into real work.

Really enjoyed reading these! I actually submitted here myself a while back, and there's so much great work going up. Loved @ProfVyas piece and Bahadir Köksal's research in particular. Now I really need to dig into the research on blockchain/AI automation ↔ state authority.
@anorth_chen Thank you for the kind words, it really means a lot. The point that 0-to-1 campaigns are about testing the product and the team's judgment, not just acquisition, is exactly how we think about it too. It was a genuine pleasure running the ambassador program with you ❤️🙏
