Feels good to be right.

It's so encouraging to see @VitalikButerin recognise the incredible work @gluk64 @anthonykrose and the @zksync team have been doing.

When I left Matter Labs to build @sophon, we chose to build using the ZKstack because I knew what was on the horizon.

It would take time to build, but the end vision was so ambitious that if it worked, it would eclipse competing solutions.

Since Sophon is a ZKstack chain, with the Atlas upgrade we will:

- have 15k+ TPS
- miniscule finality
- irrelevant fees

But, most importantly:

As we built our gamified card, payments network and eventual digital bank, the ZK tech allows us to fully benefit from the liquidity of Ethereum.

I want to share some thoughts on this:

> a necessary evil of the Ethereum ecosystem for years was the completely inefficient model of every L2 forced to build a central liquidity hub. it was "necessary" because the tech didn't support super fast interop/finality and it was "evil" because it cultivated a perverse BD modus operandi (integration fees for copy paste deployments) and violated the fundamental vision of composable finance.
