[Cheerios @0xCheerios]

The last few months I’ve been diving into web3 and chatting w others about their journey..

TLDR it’s still *way too hard* to cut thru the noise, to separate the scams and hype from projects w real longterm value, and to learn and build 🛠️🧱🚢

Web3: 20,000 developers
Web2: 26 million developers

we need to welcome more builders of ALL experiences, so that web3 can address the needs, desires and dreams of everyone

that's why we're building https://t.co/lV2aUjnrcz - to bring designers, community mgrs and devs together

[Cheerios @0xCheerios]

@layer3xyz @6thManVentures @LinksDAO "The Mulligan" gave it away

[Cheerios @0xCheerios]

Step 1 - build a school that teaches everyone to build in web3.

What if we start with community managers, designers, *and* engineers?

What if they can learn and build together in a team?

It's called https://t.co/lV2aUjnrcz and the projects that come out of this will be 🔥🔥

[Cheerios @0xCheerios]

Web3: 20,000 developers
Web2: 26 million developers

we desperately need more builders in web3.

BUT but need to make sure we welcome builders of ALL experiences and backgrounds, only then can web3 truly address the needs, desires and dreams of everyone

Web2: OS power concentrated into the hands of Windows, Google, and Apple

Web3: we've just started and there's already like 10 smart contract ecosystems

[Coinbase 🛡️ @coinbase]

The one about @ElectricCapital’s Annual Developer Report …

In this week's Around The Block podcast @MariaShen breaks down the report and talks about which ecosystems are growing the fastest and how many devs actually support BTC and DeFi.

*so* important to understand a protocol/game/community's tokenomics and know if they're designing for long-term value or short-term hype.

And note it's not always easy to spot the ruggers (see looksrare)

[Packy McCormick @packyM]

Last week, I asked you: "If I wanted to be top 0.1% at understanding/designing tokenomics, what's one resource you'd recommend?"

You gave 76 great answers. Here are the most popular, plus a link to the full Tokenomics Resource List:

1/X New project!

My primary goal since entering the Web3 space is to embrace creators & newcomers with open arms. My own Web3 journey has been:

befuddled beginner -> curious collector -> delighted degenerate -> and today…Web3 founder (!!!) with the launch of @thehugxyz

[Cheerios @0xCheerios]
