모델이 좋아져서 프롬프팅은 이제 안 중요하다는 말은, 내가 필요한 게 평범한 수준의 결과물이라는 소리로 들린다. 그게 나쁘다는 건 아니지만, 어느 수준 이상을 뽑아내는 데 필요한 건 (요즘 유행하는) 루프 같은 게 아니라 여전히 사람의 개입이라서 그렇다.

Gemini 3.5 Flash 코딩 용도로는 안 써봐서 모르겠는데, 메인 채팅 용도로는 썩 마음에 든다. 묘하게 (정확히 그게 뭔지는 모르겠으나) GPT와 Claude의 사이에 있는 것 같은 느낌을 받았고, 이로써 2달 사이에 메인 채팅 클라이언트를 Claude → ChatGPT → Gemini로 두 번이나 갈아탔다.

애자일선언문의 "Working software over comprehensive documents"를 보고 애자일은 문서를 안 만든다고 오해하는 일이 많다. XP에서 강조하는 가치 중 하나는 소통이다. 문서로 소통하는 게 더 좋으면 문서를, 소프트웨어로 소통하는 게 더 좋으면 소프트웨어를 만든다. 문서 만들지 말란 말은 없다.

이런 표현을 보게됐다. "글을 쓰지 않아도 지식이 쌓이고" Karpathy LLM Wiki를 쓰면 그렇게 할 수 있단다. 이걸 collector's fallacy라고 한다. 긁어 모아서 갖고 있는 거만으로 지식이 된다고 생각하는 버그이다. PKMS를 PIMS로 쓰는 사람들이 이런 착각에 잘 빠지더라.
