why does OOLONG have two pools? π΅
Uniswap pool: for everyone. wallets, aggregators, charts. 1% of every swap goes to the protocol: liquidity, buyback & burn
in-house pool: for the protocol itself. it buys OOLONG for traders who lost (7% of every loss), runs the buyback & burn, and its starting liquidity is locked forever
protocol buys are capped per second, so nobody can sandwich them
arbitrage keeps both prices in line
hey @econoar, I built 1000x perps on Robinhood Chain that pay losing traders back in their own token π΅
a few fun things inside: two AMM pools, OOLONG locking that shares the protocol's ETH, constant buyback & burn. and anyone can add liquidity and be the house for every trade
would mean a lot if you took a look, good sir https://t.co/jdIhLlEJv6
@papertrade_xyz proved there's massive demand for 1000x perps. But after its recent issues, $OOLONG @oolongperp might be an interesting alternative to watch. π΅
Papertrade's problems:
~$1.28M oracle manipulation exploit
PAPER remains non-transferable
Top 1,000 wallets hold ~88% of PAPER
Heavy farming, dilution, and declining staking yields
Now @0xhadrian - the @unipegv4 creator - has launched @oolongperp on Robinhood Chain, with some interesting differences:
β’ 100M fixed supply β no endless minting. 7% of every trading loss buys OOLONG on the market.
β’ Tradable from day one β buy, sell, or lock tokens to earn ETH.
β’ Real revenue sharing β lockers receive 50% of trading fees plus a share of pool profits.
β’ Buyback & burn β protocol revenue reduces supply instead of diluting holders.
β’ Better-defined risk limits β max payouts are reserved upfront, with Chainlink oracle pricing.
And here's the speculative angle:
$OOLONG is sitting at just ~$76K market cap.
Papertrade attracted tens of millions in TVL and massive attention, but its token remains inaccessible to regular market participants.
Oolong offers a liquid, microcap alternative on the emerging Robinhood Chain.
Of course, the pool is tiny, the contracts are new, and Hadrian's previous launches raise legitimate concerns.
But the risk/reward narrative is worth watching.
Papertrade validated the concept. Oolong is experimenting with a more liquid, deflationary version of it.

hey @zacklabadie , we noticed GoPlus is showing a few security warnings for frong on DexScreener, including a honeypot flag. could just be a scanner issue, but it might make new buyers hesitant. any chance you could take a look and help clarify things? πΈ
Very interesting. Why does a centralized entity like @GoPlusSecurity suddenly flag my projects Upeg and UToken as honeypots after months of clean scans and zero contract changes?
@GoPlusSecurity Upeg and UToken are flagged as honeypot with zero changes to either contract. Both traded fine and passed your scans for months. A false flag like this hurts real holders. Was this a manual edit? We expect a fix asap and an explanation of what triggered it.

the OOLONG flywheel π΅
buy on Uniswap
β
part becomes protocol liquidity, part buys back and burns OOLONG
β
more liquidity = bigger trades on Oolong perps
β
more trading = more fees and pool profit
β
fees and profit flow to buyback & burn and to OOLONG lockers
β
7% of every trading loss buys OOLONG for the trader
β
less supply, more holders, more buyers on Uniswap
and around again
@Morgulodensor@vladtenev UPEG is alive. I'm still supporting it and moving it forward at a steady pace. Good collections take time to grow, CryptoPunks did too. As I said: patience.
As I said, some projects succeed and some don't. Everyone makes mistakes, but mistakes are not all the same: some come from greed, others from inexperience. Mine were the second kind.
Oolong is a great project, both technically and in what it stands for and with a community behind it, it can go far. I'd really like you to join us.
With respect,
0xHadrian
Hey Meresoklinus!
I understand your concerns. Some projects haven't gone as well as expected. I've never chased pennies through what you call "tax farms". I'm passionate about creating projects, and I'm a big tech fan, just like you. I've seen quite a few of your posts and noticed how quickly you dig into things. You have my respect for that. I believe there's still room for creators. Creating things is joyful in itself.
You can check out the docs section on https://t.co/7G6bP0c6xL It's all there for you, including the logic behind the protocol.
My plan is simple: to build a user-friendly perp DEX on RHC and make trading fun, even when you lose a trade.
I hope this message finds you well. Thank you for paying attention to my work. I really appreciate it. If one day any of my projects succeeds, we'll all win. I can guarantee you that.
