I'll admit I naively assumed $ZEC was still using the initial Sprout trusted setup. It turns out they migrated to Halo 2 in 2022 which does not require any trusted setup at all. The old Sprout pools still exist for backwards compatibility but they are now exit-only.

@tushar_jain It's a nice thought, but it won't work when trading continues on other venues. The exchange could literally go insolvent on a major move in either direction. A $1B insurance fund isn't nearly enough. Even $10B may not be enough.
