The human won by 0.04 seconds per package. The robot still had 94 hours left.

In the final seconds of this 10-hour contest, Figure’s intern raises both arms. On the other half of the screen, an F.03 robot is still placing a parcel. The count: 12,924 for the human and about 12,730 for the robot, a gap of under 200. That’s 2.79 seconds per package against 2.83.

The clock in the corner reads hour 106. This is a 200-hour livestream in which Figure’s F.03 robots sorted 249,560 packages by the company’s count, swapping out to recharge. For the human, those ten hours were a sprint over a whole shift. For the robots, just a slice of a marathon: about 1,250 packages an hour averaged over 200 hours, against about 1,290 for the human over his ten.

A warehouse doesn’t buy the best ten hours of a shift. It buys hour 200. And at hour 200, Figure is selling a robot holding roughly 97% of the human pace.

A lighter and more flexible German industrial humanoid robot

Germany’s NEURA Robotics has unveiled its 4NE1 Gen 4, featuring a slimmer design, a black textile outer layer and a 20% weight reduction over its predecessor.

Based on the previous generation’s 80 kg weight, Gen 4 would weigh around 64 kg, though its exact weight remains unconfirmed.

Its brain is Neuron AI, NEURA’s own Physical AI foundation model. It combines vision, touch, force, sound and language to help robots understand their surroundings and execute tasks. Through Neuraverse, learned skills can be shared across connected robots.

NEURA is also building a 2,300-square-meter RoboGym with TUM to bridge the gap between training and deployment. Robots learn industrial skills through real-world data, human demonstrations and simulation...

while NEURA advances real-world projects with partners such as Schaeffler, which plans to deploy thousands of its humanoids by 2035, and HD Hyundai Samho, where robots are being tested for shipbuilding.

In 2024, a humanoid in Argentina cost $167,000. Now strangers dress it in a hoodie.

That’s what this clip shows. Three men dress a small humanoid in a black hoodie, the robot starts moving its legs in quick steps, and hands keep reaching for it. The caption says it’s the first robot on the streets of Argentina. It isn’t: a Unitree G1 was already walking Puerto Madero in February 2025, shaking hands with passersby.

Now look at the price tags. In April 2024, a security-equipment store listed Unitree’s H1 at $167,000, one unit in stock. The G1 in Puerto Madero was priced around $16,000. Today Unitree lists its small R1 at $5,900 before tax and shipping. Different robots, but the direction is hard to miss: roughly a 28x drop in sticker price in two and a half years.

Behavior changes with the price. In July, a robot in Miami got an Argentina jersey and danced to football chants at a fan gathering. Nobody dresses a $167,000 display piece. People dress things they expect to see again tomorrow.

TESLA OPTIMUS TORE UP A STAGE IN DELHI IN 15 SECONDS

The festival paid $90,000 for it to walk out and wave

But the moment the drums hit, it went into bhangra like it was born in Punjab

One leg hops, shoulders on the beat, a squat and a spin without a single pause

The dancer who was up next took off his costume right backstage

The host kept yelling this wasn't in the program, but nobody could hear him

The clip hit 40 million views overnight and Elon still hasn't said a word

Who taught it this ?

@servo_diaries Yes, bro, really good?

The knife doesn’t decide how thick the slice is. The other hand does.

Watch this humanoid cut a cucumber. The cleaver in one hand goes straight down every time. The real work is done by the free hand: after each cut it pushes the cucumber forward a few millimeters, and that distance is the thickness of the next slice. Get the push slightly wrong and every round after it comes out uneven.

It’s harder than it looks. A cucumber is more than 90% water, round and slippery, so it wants to roll out from under the blade. The hand has to hold it still, move it one precise step, and get its fingers out of the blade’s path before the next cut.

A human hand has about 27 degrees of freedom. Humanoid hands in public spec lists run from 7 to 22. With fewer joints, this robot is doing fine work a person barely notices doing.

The knife is the easy part. It only has to go down.

A flying kick, a clinch against the cage and a robot flat on the mat. All of it inside 30 seconds.

The punches aren’t the interesting part. What happens after contact is. The white robot throws a high kick, then the two of them end up tangled against the fence. The silver one goes down, and before the clip ends it’s back on its feet. A cameraman walks around the ring like it’s routine.

Staying upright after an unpredictable hit is one of the hardest problems in legged robotics. A factory floor rarely hits a robot, but it does bump it, and a robot that can’t recover from a shove needs a babysitter. Fighting is a brutal way to test that. That’s my read, not the organizers’.

There’s a catch: who’s driving? At Rek’s matches in San Francisco, modified Unitree G1s are VR-piloted by humans, and Berkeley’s Ken Goldberg called the format “robot theater.” In Shenzhen, the new UKRL league gives teams free EngineAI T800s and offers the winner a belt valued at $1.44M. I couldn’t tell from the clip which league this is, or whether these robots are piloted or autonomous.

That’s what I’ll be watching for: the first fight where nobody holds a controller.

Everyone watches robots run 100 meters in 8.64 seconds

The World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing brought 2,000+ robots from 666 teams in 16 countries. The sprint record beats the human one (9.58s). But at the same event, one robot lost a leg mid-sprint, another crashed into a mat and caught fire, and this one just couldn’t clear a hurdle.

To me, this is the most useful clip of the tournament. Records show what robots can already do. Falls show what they can’t yet.

Records make headlines. Failures make the next version. The winner isn’t the robot that never falls, it’s the one that learns from the fall fastest.

I told you so, robots belong in...

I told you so, robots only belong in the kitchen, or only for cleaning the apartment/house, and that's it, nothing more, they are not capable of anything else.

This video is an example that robots should only be allowed to clean the room or wash the dishes.

[Krosh @0xKrosh]

Hahaha, the robot stole something from a human.

The robot stealing a beer bottle from a drunk person is actually a joke. The robot simply walked into the store and took the bottle of beer that the person wanted to drink, but something went wrong.

You can see how he tried to take it, but he flew far off to the right, along with his bottle. The robot is a good guy for taking that bottle from him, just grabbing it and throwing it away, or maybe drinking it himself, who knows.

[Krosh @0xKrosh]

I take back my words, robots are still stupid…

Yes, that is the case, robots are not yet smart enough to dance, play games, engage in boxing, and so on. Robots literally cannot hit, and if they swing, they immediately fall over; well, it is absurd. Their place is only at home in the kitchen, or cleaning the house, and nothing else, if that sounds strange.

Travelers need to make a better brain for them so that it thinks normally, moves normally, and feels all its movements, where and how. Not this, which we are seeing now.

I will say honestly, if robots start playing, for example, that same football well, it will be interesting to watch, really very interesting, as it will be a new opportunity to show robots from a good side.

[Krosh @0xKrosh]

Robots that play soccer, but there is one catch…

Robots can play soccer, but they won't be able to do anything useful. I mean, literally nothing, because they couldn't even kick the ball; they just fell over, move very slowly, and so on.

My opinion is that what is best to do right now is use them for the home, to do some household chores, like cleaning up, washing dishes, and so on. As for such games, robots are not suitable at all, because they literally cannot hit the ball…

A BOXING ROBOT PICKED A FIGHT WITH A WALL. THE WALL WON

It’s alone in a gym in a white shirt, shorts and blue boxing gloves, with a messy gray hairpiece on its head, shadowboxing around the room. Honestly looks decent, bouncing on its feet with the guard up.

Then it drifts over to the wall, where a big roller curtain hangs, and keeps boxing right next to it for a few seconds like it found a sparring partner.

Then the curtain gives way and the robot goes down backwards, flips over and slides across the floor with the gloves still up.

Nobody hit it. There’s nobody else in the frame at all.

My guess is it leaned on something that wasn’t as solid as it looked, which is a very human way to lose a fight.
Lost to a curtain and still gets to call it a knockout.

[Krosh @0xKrosh]

A ROBOT IN A COWBOY HAT WENT FOR A JOG. ONLY THE HAT SURVIVED

The first half of this clip honestly looks great. It’s running across the lawn with an almost human stride, the camera is running right next to it, and a few people on the path stop to watch.

Then it trips and goes straight down onto its face, arms and legs spread out like it’s making a snow angel.

And then it just lies there. For the whole second half of the video it doesn’t move at all, and the person filming keeps filming.

I think this shows pretty well where these robots are right now. Running already looks almost solved on camera, but getting back up on your own after a fall on bumpy grass is a whole different problem, and that’s the part demos rarely show.

Still, the hat staying on through all of that is the most impressive engineering in the video.

A HUMANOID ROBOT FACEPLANTED OFF A STAGE IN FRONT OF A LIVE CROWD

Robot dogs in lion costumes are dancing on stage, totally fine. Then a humanoid tries to walk down the steps and goes straight into the floor face first.

Now watch the guy in shorts. He’s there in about two seconds. He doesn’t stop to look, he just walks in, grabs it by the legs and lifts it like it’s a normal part of the evening. A second guy comes over to help.

That guy clearly knew he had his own act in the show tonight. It just wasn’t in the program.

Now I kind of wonder how many of those flawless robot clips just end two seconds before a moment like this.

The dogs didn’t even flinch btw. Four legs is a lot more forgiving, and stairs on two are still really hard for these things.

Cool show though. I’m just curious how long until that guy gets to sit down and watch it with everyone else.

A PUNCHING BAG IS CURRENTLY UNDEFEATED AGAINST HUMANOID ROBOTS.

A humanoid is dancing in the middle of the street like it owns the city. A security guard walks right past without even looking. Seconds later the robot is lying on the steps of a building.

Another one finally gets the job nobody wants: shoveling snow. A couple of swings, then it just lies down in the snow.

One is trying to stand up. Not a backflip. Not parkour. Just stand up. It gets halfway, then faceplants into the floor tiles with its visor still glowing blue.

One kicks a punching bag in a boxing ring. The bag stays. The robot goes down by the ropes, and a guy walks over to clean up the mess.

One walks out in front of a room full of suits and press cameras. Big moment. Goes down in front of everyone.

And the best one: a robot boxing match in front of a huge crowd. One robot throws a punch at absolutely nothing, spins, and falls on its own. The other just raises its gloves.

Won the fight without throwing a single punch.

To be fair, this is a blooper reel. Nobody posts the hundreds of times these robots stay on their feet, and falling is part of how they learn to balance.

But half of tech Twitter is panicking that robots will take their jobs.

The robots are still losing to a bag of sand.

How to make money on robots https://t.co/1IQv3LpIz8

[Krosh @0xKrosh]

THE COWBOY ROBOT IS SO DUMB

It seems smart, but also not at all. It walked into an elevator full of people, farted for no reason, and then started laughing. Absolutely terrible.

Honestly, though, it's fascinating that robots can even do this, or at least "fart." It looks hilarious, and the laughing is pretty cool too.

Owning a robot like this would be awesome. It could help you with work, clean the house, do stuff outside, and bring you anything you ask for. To me, these robots are incredibly multifunctional.

If you told one to go out and make money, it would probably do that too. I'd say there's a 99% chance it finds some kind of job that pays, and a 1% chance it doesn't, but that's very unlikely.

[Krosh @0xKrosh]

Three grown men couldn’t stop 1 robot

No, this isn’t made up. Three guys couldn’t stop one “innocent” robot that just walked into their store. The robot was way stronger than all three of them combined. Honestly, hilarious.

Look how far tech has come. Robots can now push back against people. They think ahead and plan their next move before they make it. They fully control their movements, the force of every hit, and their awareness of everything around them. I mean that sixth sense of whether someone’s about to attack.

Here’s the wild part

Modern humanoids react in milliseconds. Hundreds of times a second, built-in balance and force sensors check where the robot’s weight is and how hard it’s being pushed. That’s why shoving one barely works. It just shifts its feet and stays standing.

If you think robots can’t do anything, you’re very, very wrong. They’re way smarter than people.

Would you try to stop it?

I SAW A FAMILY WITH THEIR OWN PERSONAL ROBOT, WOW.

I was scrolling through TikTok when I came across this: a family with their own robot. It doesn't just talk to the, it actually plays with the kids. It’s incredible!

Interestingly, this robot is fully attuned to people, not just their emotions, but everything else; it can even handle going to the bathroom. Technology is reaching a point where we might not even need nannies to look after children anymore.

I have to say, it’s really cool for a family to have a robot they can rely on, you could even consider it a member of the family.

Wow, wow, I created my first robot that can repair an ATV.

Honestly, it happened quite unexpectedly. I went to Claude, wrote to him "Create a robot for me that can repair an ATV," and there it was, he created it. To be honest, it turned out to be pretty cool.

This robot can fully analyze an ATV, immediately find the breakdown, instead of standing over this ATV all day and not finding a single fault. So, I ended up with this kind of robot; it's quite interesting and informative to create something like that.

To create something like this, you don't need to know a lot. Just go to Claude, write to him: “Create a robot for me, and describe what you want this robot to do, and that's it”.
