solana's nakamoto coefficient numbers are not correct

there's inherent regulatory arbitrage in PoS systems

-> there's some large SOL sale from FTX estate
-> big funds buy
-> they're required to store with a qualified custodian (QC) or directly with the company they bought from (Galaxy)
-> the QCs generally have an enterprise deal or something with someone like Figment

the end result is that Figment and Coinbase are each over 5% of the network (and I'm being conservative)

now combine that with Foundation Delegation program (roughly 14% of stake I think)

so you have something like 24% of the network by those entities

then you just need 3-4 other entities to get 33%

so Solana's Nakamoto Coefficient is actually much closer to ~7 — *not* 21 as a lot of public sources say (like nakaflow)

not great

we need to improve this, and the way to do it is:

i) get QCs to add **all** solana validators that funds can stake to

ii) support solana native teams

iii) realize that you do not need a CEX for staking — Solana has delegation built into the protocol, just put your funds in Squads and then stake from there
