AZUKI VS. ONECOIN
onecoin (a giant literal ponzi ran by a gypsy woman named dr ruja ignatova), whose sole pitch was that ”bitcoin could not succeed because it didn’t have enough coins” one day managed to actually run out of coins itself
(for some inexplicable reason the supply of onecoin was just 2.1 billion even though their whole pitch was pretending that crypto coins are not divisible units. why they didn’t just actually make the supply big enough from the start is a mystery of retarded scam logic that i’ll never be able to decipher)
in order to fix this problem of ”running out of coins”, the supposedly ”decentralized cryptocurrency onecoin” fixed this by increasing the supply from 2.1 to 120 billion, announced onstage to a cheering audience
to rationalize why getting 98% diluted was actually a good thing dr ruja explained that now that onecoin has enough coins the community can expand and the increased brand recognition of onecoin would eclipse the dilutionary effects
all existing onecoin holders would also have their own supply ”doubled” so they’d now be more than twice as rich
despite this turbo retarded act flying in the face of reason and obviously debunking the notion that onecoin was in any way decentralized seeing as dr ruja could set the supply by decree, it was immensely popular and hooked onecoin bottom-of-the-pyramid suckers to stick around for another year
what i could never understand about these scam coins like onecoin or hex is that the pitch isn’t even good. like how is a dr rujablabla gypsy woman saying some random nonsense about bitcoin not having enough coins even a believable scam. and yet it managed to pull €4 billion from people. don’t scams need to be good???
anyway think about how little difference the onecoin scam is to azuki
azuki decides to just randomly triple the size of their collection, supposedly to do the same thing as onecoin (expand the user base and strengthen the brand recognition)
in order to not piss off the core audience via dilution they dump this extra 20k azukis on their own audience while the issuers line their pockets with $38m from the sale
when the audience gets pissed off when they realize the collection they bought is just more of the same fucking azuki and they’re now collectively $38m poorer as a result the azuki team decides they have to do something
they decide that they’re gonna change the background image of the new azukis so they look marginally different from the original
azukis pump as a result as the core audience loves this idea despite the fact that it blatantly exposes the lack of decentralization when the issuer just changes the fucking ”decentralized photos” willy-nilly issued on the most expensive database in the world
1/ It’s unfortunate I have to make this thread but I am being sued by MachiBigBrother for an article I published in June 2022.
Today Machi filed the defamation lawsuit. The lawsuit is baseless and an attempt to chill free speech. I intend to fight back & defend free speech.
The @SECGov has chosen to sue @Gemini, @coinbase, and @krakenfx for not complying with securities laws and yet at the same time has approved @PrometheumInc.
Here are some highlights that set Prometheum apart:
-Failed to launch a product in 6 years
-Hired multiple former SEC and FINRA staff
-Read @GaryGensler and @SenWarren talking points from script at a Congressional hearing
-Hired a Chief Technology officer who is an independent contractor consultant with zero Internet presence who lives in the Isle of Man
And that folks has made all the difference. 😂🤡

i wonder what it’s like to belong to this group. are they like, in constant awe, blown-back of how reality continues to make these weird turns and the unexpected keeps happening over and over?

May 2023: Technically speaking it is and always has been possible to write firmware that facilitates key extraction — Ledger
@Ledger, do you now understand the problem?
# The Dishonorable Camelot
Always a beacon of chivalry and honor, Camelot just rugged its pre-launch "Genesis" liquidity partners when they were no longer needed to maintain platform liquidity.
Basically, this:
@TheCat98598918@LilMoonLambo Gary says you could build Uber on top of Algorand, which could be construed as a misleading promotional statement of Algorands capabilities
Indeed many retail investors have purchased Algorand as a direct result of his comments
@CamelotDEX has betrayed its earliest supporters by unilaterally decreasing their profit by several times. It’s a massive red flag 🚩 and indicates that this team cannot be trusted 💀

The repo linked by the Ronin hacker has a vulnerability in the elliptic library. It is a trick so they can steal money from the Euler exploiter.

Today I lost just about all of my savings in the @eulerfinance hack.
Down about as bad as can be. And yet I’m feeling more clear-headed and motivated than I ever have in my life.
So allow me a stream of consciousness on dealing with a loss of catastrophic proportions 👇
