Final day at The Block today. Was a hell of a ride.
Thanks to everyone who supported me with articles, podcasts, revenue deals over the years 🙏 really appreciate it
Gonna take a few months off to detox from crypto and walk my puppy. Lfg 🫡
Unless I’ve mistaken this is a first-of-kind regulated insurance policy covering crime to such an extent in DeFi.
It was a huge effort to get here with over 12 months of work from Teo Kithara-Bigot, Adam Wickens, Alex Krasnow and guest appearances from Christian Ogden-Davies.
We feel this is the most robust regulated product out there in the market for DeFi lending markets and we hope this can provide foothold for more cover to grow as we expand.
Really appreciate this contribution. Alex and his team are among the smartest people in the space and are helping bring DeFi to institutional readiness.
@DCinvestor@leaf_swan There is a mix, of course. If both people speak each other's native language plus English, it is usually contextual, and a lot of switching between. But English is usually the dominant one, as in most cases it is the stronger language for each besides their own native language
@DCinvestor@leaf_swan My friends (a couple) are Russian and German, and both speak each language quite well. But whenever they have a "fight," they use English (which they both speak very well also), because it is the neutral language
@KeyringNetwork just ran the first-ever levered loop of a non-atomically settled RWA on @eulerfinance without any external market marker or OTC liquidity, and using no additional capital.
This is a huge step forwards for RWAs that do not settle atomically.
Will share more shortly 😁
@flipdazed That's exactly what happened to me a few months ago. I was asked to join a call on Teams with someone I had met in the past, but their whole video was them "having technical difficulties" and me being told to run something in terminal
