Tried Figma Motion + Shaders over the weekend.

You describe an effect in prompts → the agent builds a parameterized WebGPU shader, and the controls show up right on the canvas. Dithering, frosted glass, mesh gradients, moiré. You can stack them, keyframe them, share with your team.

If you like working in a GUI, this is really nice.

Sharing a new shader: Standing Wave💎✨
Ripples overlap on scanlines, forming a diamond of light at the center. An ASCII filter quantizes the smooth light into symbols, where glow meets grain.

While refine a website, I found that GSAP released greensock/gsap-skills. It's an official AI skill that brings GSAP's signature smooth, magical animations to any project.

I use generative AI for heavy tasks, but it never finishes in one go. It requires constant fine-tuning of parameters. It takes a full day to complete just one shader to my liking.

I've made about eight so far and will share them one by one.

I wanted shaders built around each brand's concept, so I built my own studio to make them. I call it /shaderbook. 📕✨

There are great shader tools out there, but this lets me build fully original shaders from the ground up, exactly as I envision them. #WebGL #shaders

KFC’s rebrand is really nice.🍗
They put the already-iconic bucket back at the center of the brand, and the vertical typography subtly echoes its shape.
It’s not about adding something new, but making their strongest asset feel even stronger. Maybe I should go get some chicken.
