BasedOne (BasedApp) — If You’re Trading on Hyperliquid Anyway, You Must Use It

There’s a way to farm everything at the same time — by building trading volume through @BasedOneX .

BasedOne is a Hyperliquid-linked app (originally called BasedApp, later renamed). It works seamlessly with Hyperliquid and is available on web, Android, and iOS. The team is active on Discord and Telegram, answering questions and developing day and night, which gives strong credibility.

I’ve used it for about two weeks and found the UI clean and easy. Most importantly, it allows triple farming of HYPE, UNIT, and BASED simultaneously. Through BasedOne, trading feels smoother compared to Hyperliquid’s default UI, and it’s satisfying to see XP accumulate with each trade.

⚠️ Note: I initially used OKX Wallet with Hyperliquid but had compatibility issues, so I imported the private key into Rabby Wallet, which works better. I recommend connecting via Rabby Wallet for first-time users.

How are HYPE, UNIT, and BASED farmed at the same time?
It’s simple — BasedApp uses Hyperliquid’s builder code (shared orderbook). This means when a trade occurs, both Hyperliquid rewards (HYPE, UNIT) and BasedApp rewards (BASED) are credited.
So, if you trade UNIT-supported tokens in the Hyperliquid ecosystem (especially via BasedApp), you earn HYPE + UNIT + BASED together.

Fees

Since BasedOne builds on Hyperliquid, the base Hyperliquid fee applies.

Spot Trading: Taker 0.070% / Maker 0.040%

Futures Trading: Taker 0.045% / Maker 0.015%
👉 Example: $10,000 trade = $7 fee (spot taker) or $1.5 fee (futures maker).
Staking on Hyperliquid reduces fees. Without staking, spot trading fees are noticeable but not excessive, since the main purpose is UNIT farming and BASED farming is an extra benefit.

There’s also a self-referral system that allows up to 60% fee rebate.

Tier 1 referral: 60% commission

Tier 2 referral: 12%

Tier 3 referral: 6%
Self-referrals are allowed but may affect BASED allocation if abused.

XP Rewards

Spot: 0.16875 XP per $1

Futures: 0.045 XP per $1

E.g. ~$700 spent on spot fees earned ~100,000 XP.
⚠️ Warning: Rapid back-and-forth trading (wash trading) within 1 minute may flag your account as Sybil. Maintain 5–10 min gaps between trades.

Additional Notes

XP and BASED balance determine future airdrop amounts.

Using the physical Based card earns additional rewards:
Regular card: 4 pts per $1
Gold card: 6 pts per $1 (but high annual fees).

First airdrop (PUP) proved the team’s credibility. $BASED airdrop is expected around September–October.

PUP staking and further rewards are planned.

Summary

-BasedOne (ex-BasedApp) = a trading app integrated with Hyperliquid.

-Triple farming: When trading UNIT tokens → you earn HYPE + UNIT + BASED rewards.

-Fees: Same as Hyperliquid’s base, with staking discounts. Futures are cheaper than spot. Self-referral can cut fees by up to 60%.

-XP farming: $1 spot = 0.16875 XP; $1 futures = 0.045 XP. XP + BASED amount determines airdrop share.

-Precautions: Avoid wash trading (<1min intervals). Use Rabby Wallet instead of OKX for compatibility.

-Airdrops: PUP was the first, $BASED airdrop expected Sep–Oct. Staking + physical card = extra rewards.

In short: If you’re farming Hyperliquid and UNIT anyway, trading via BasedOne lets you triple farm (HYPE + UNIT + BASED) while building XP for future airdrops.

As $BASED TGE approaches, I want to clarify the rationale for a concurrent listing on Hyperliquid and CEXes such as Coinbase, Bybit and Binance.

@BasedOneX is still doing what we have been doing all along: building a unified platform to trade everything and spend everywhere. The objective is a permissionless interface across crypto, equities, and commodities.

We have chosen to build on @HyperliquidX, and will continue to do so. Over the past 24 hours, Based contributed ~2% of total volume, with peaks above 10%. Based has generated the highest volume ($41B) among Hyperliquid builder codes exchange, and is the second highest on number of users and all-time revenue (behind Phantom). We have strong user growth every month and will continue to onboard new users to the House of All Finance.

Based has also integrated @Polymarket to give users access to prediction markets. In 2026, we will continue to double down on our efforts to build better fiat rails to let people onboard money to trade and to spend.

TGE is a significant event. It aligns stakeholders and accelerates BASED’s growth trajectory. CEX listings help to improve the distribution and liquidity for the BASED token. The decision to work with Binance helps us to ensure that BASED token can be traded directly by 200M+ users worldwide with the world's largest exchange by volume.

BASED is the first project to pursue a simultaneous launch on Hyperliquid and tier-1 CEXes. This strategy establishes a new precedent: tokens can originate on Hyperliquid and achieve listings on exchanges such as Coinbase, Bybit and more.

Most supply remains on Hyperliquid. A portion is bridged to Ethereum and BSC via @LayerZero_Core and @StargateFinance to enable deposits on centralized exchanges.
