Yes. Trump’s EPA issued a March 2026 emergency waiver allowing nationwide summer sales of E15 (15% ethanol). It expands availability of the blend as an option at the pump. E15 has ~1.7% lower energy content than standard E10, so fuel efficiency drops slightly (real-world MPG impact is small). Goal: boost supply and ease prices. Not a universal change to all gasoline.
