NVIDIA just open-sourced Run:ai. Good news if you'd rather not be locked into one way of scheduling GPUs.
Run:ai is one of several orchestrators you can run on Lambda, alongside Slurm, Kubernetes, and SkyPilot. You pick how to allocate and share your GPUs. We keep them healthy underneath, node-level auto-remediation ships in Lambda Kubernetes Service today.
We've supported Run:ai on Lambda since 2022. Open source makes it easier to package, test, and keep it current as a managed option.

Today, we’re open sourcing the full NVIDIA Run:ai platform as part of the NVIDIA DSX AI Factory Platform.
Developers, platform teams, and partners can build on production-grade AI workloads and GPU orchestration to improve GPU utilization, increase workload throughput, and bring AI factory solutions to market faster.
Deploy the integrated NVIDIA Run:ai platform or adopt individual components to fit your needs.

.@Forbes just named Akash Network as the core AI infrastructure powering the rise of "0-person companies," calling out decentralized compute as the layer that eliminates the need for centralized cloud providers entirely.
Akash is one of the first alts about to retrace its entire October 10th wick.
If you know my lore, you know this is one of my favorite things to trade. Looks ready for $1 next.
the market is already front-running the next explosive alt season
with $BTC dominance cracking on bear flag confirmation, smart money is quietly rotating hard into alts, mid-caps and high-beta narratives
the alt season is coiling
AGI is absolutely exploding compute demand — and we’re watching the biggest infrastructure supercycle in history unfold in real time.
On one side, centralized giants are printing money: $NVDA, $AMD, $MU, $TSM, $AVGO, $AMAT, $WDC, $EQIX, $DLR, $VST, $CEG and the hyperscalers ($MSFT, $AMZN, $GOOGL) are all hitting new highs as data centers and chips scale at insane speed.
All this centralization is creating massive demand for the opposite — true decentralization. Projects like $AKT (Akash Network), $RNDR, and the whole DePIN ecosystem are the “spice” that will keep the future flowing when Big Tech can’t scale fast enough or affordably enough.
$BTC may dip into the CME gap around $80K–$83K to grab liquidity first, then decide whether the bullish flag is real or gets rejected.. big zone to watch!
