yeah been thinking about this a lot - might be the most underrated threat for societal decay

society needs ppl to believe that if they put in the work they can reliably improve their lives

many don't blv that now - and perhaps even worse - don't feel they can rely on any institution / career path / financial asset to even be here in the relatively near future

if you don't feel like your effort will matter and you're too overwhelmed by complex information.
to future plan - you will probably be happier to watch the system burn vs participate in it

lots of ppl will be like "haha skill issue loser" but they - just as much as any of us - need a healthy functioning society of normal ppl in order to live a good life

slow decay into chaos is bad for everyone

who knows what the solutions are - i'm an idiot so not my job to solve it - but prob easier to make quick progress on the messaging side

make only movies about ambitious high agency humans who change their lives for the better for 3 years and see if that helps idk
