It's a much larger model than any of OpenAI's models.

Basically Anthropic doesn't have the research OpenAI has done to make highly smart and efficient (small size) models (not saying Anthropic's small models aren't very smart) so they decided to train an extremely expensive large model which I think OpenAI hasn't gotten to yet (they will surely).

Mythos in it's current form is very difficult to use bcz of how expensive it is.

FWIW, GPT 5.5 Pro, a model currently available, is almost as smart as Mythos Preview and uses wayyy less compute. However it seems the visual intelligence and just all round finish in intelligence for Mythos is unmatched.

@deepfates I think the workflow is that the models do almost all of the work but the human reviews it and fixes the subtle issues.

You'd need people who can code without a model for that.

Bro sometimes the text highlight colour changes on my codex and I can't write in the text box. Not in any of the current or new threads. I'm repeatedly clicking in the text box here.
I can record my voice and it transcribes but I can't write with the keyboard.

Noticed it first yesterday and these happen together but also separately. The selection issue is more common. With the vercel theme, the selection colour is the exactly the same as the bg colour so it seems like selection of text has stopped working.

This is the multiple with the current models. 8x productivity gains. And it probably includes a 1.5-3x multiplier for the amount of effort the humans are putting into the work compared to 2021.

I imagine a smaller team with even less bureacracy could go to maybe 10-20x but that's that for now.
