A lot of articles have been written because people think “working for twice as long” is the same as “doing twice the work”
Women almost always bill more hours per task, but that doesn’t actually say anything about work accomplished
Adaptación al mercado. Ya no es un sitio para la salida familiar puntual porque ya no existen las familias, sino un lugar al que van adultos solos, con prisas, para quitarse el hambre de forma cómoda y automática.
An editor on Facebook once complained that she was sent a 1,000,000 word novel. I replied "If the labor theory of value was real, you'd publish it and he'd make a pile of money" and a lot of communist authors got really mad at me
Met a State Dept girlboss. 10 years on the job. I knew more about the country she “specializes” in.
I’m an underemployed gamer chud who went to a mid college. The entire economy is fake lmao.
Hinge profile of 33-yo woman: “I’m a lover, a fighter, a soul-stirring amuse bouche looking for an actualized, compassionate man who lights up my soul like New York at night”
Hinge profile of 23-yo woman: “I like turtles 😊”
Space exploration is great because it reveals the moral evil of the anti-colonialists. There are no indigenous humans on the moon. There is no life on the moon at all. Turns out they just hate progress. They hate knowledge and growth and beauty.
We're not going to cross the Atlantic ocean.
1. No one has any idea how far away the nearest land is. It could be thousands of miles!
2. Surely we can just build faster caravels? The problem is that wind can only push you so fast.
3. There are no landmarks out on the ocean. Sure you can use the stars to determine your latitude, but with no way of knowing your longitude you'll just get hopelessly lost.
4. The storms are ferociously powerful. The waves are huge. Ships would sink long before they reached the other side of the ocean.
5. There's no fresh water. You'd need to carry it all with you, along with all your food. The more stores you carry, the less capable wind is of propelling you, and the slower you go. There's no way you'd be able to carry enough to avoid death by thirst or starvation long before you reached land. The Sail Equation prevents it.
> Science is hard.
Fuck you, I have relatives dying of cancer right now. They'd happily take "scientifically unproven" mRNA vaccines if that won them like 40% chance to live another 5 years.
The unseriousness is baffling. Guess Chinese dark industry will be our only salvation.
wait a fucking second.
if this is true, what you're telling me is that with a biopsy and some genome info, a lab could do a "vaccine" that treats my specific, personal, nonscalable cancer?
and this is not the norm because my specific cancer wont pass (you don't say) RCTs???
