👋 Hi there!
This thread goes out to our beloved community,
we invite you to check the below "✅do's and ❌ don'ts" as a healthy refresher for best practices to stay secure in the crypto space.

We've decided to transfer a big chunk of our #Bitcoin to a cold wallet, and store that cold wallet in a physical vault within our national territory.
You can call it our first #Bitcoin piggy bank 🇸🇻
It's not much, but it's honest work 😂
Thanks for everything - we're going to miss you terribly over here in CS. Godspeed on your next endeavor - can't want to see what you're cooking up next 🥲
Last friday was my last day at Ledger. Extremely humbled by what we accomplished and wishing all the builders and self custody believers there the best in their journey to make the space safer.
Ledger’s mission is, and will always be, to provide our users with the right tools to own their digital value securely.
We have decided to accelerate our open-sourcing roadmap to bring more verifiability to everything we do.
A thread 🧵
Yesterday I freaked out about the revelation that @Ledger could spit out your private key with a firmware update.
Yet I noticed the smartest people were not freaking out. Was I missing something?
I spent the evening educating myself, and now I'm in the "nvm it's fine" camp.
🚨 The Ledger Donjon (@DonjonLedger), our team of security experts, likely avoided one of the biggest hack in the history of crypto by finding a critical vulnerability in @TrustWallet’s browser extension last November

Today @SECGov charged Kraken for the unregistered offer & sale of securities thru its staking-as-a-service program.
Whether it’s through staking-as-a-service, lending, or other means, crypto intermediaries must provide the proper disclosures & safeguards required by our laws.
@Timbozini @cryptocom Can you also start building infrastructure for https://t.co/DsFvWDLjKD to get non-native assets off-chain or at least back to the exchange? It’s a black hole for inexperienced users
"Self-custody is great, but..."
You can be sure the following is a fallacy. We need permissionless systems to ensure censorship resistance, self sovereignty and thus FREEDOM.
There's no BUT.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Judge rules that Celsius users gave up legal rights to their BTC by using the platform and all the $4.2 billion of crypto deposits are now property of Celsius.
Take your #bitcoin off exchanges!
