Just so you know.
I was already playing ball from Obalende Recreational Centre, to Dodan Barracks, to Ijeh Barracks, to Obalende Police Barracks on that coaltar, na from childhood.
Then I moved to Segun Odegbami’s football academy in Wasimi, Ogun State. Same academy Tolu Arokodare went to.
I played football all through uni, I captained my school, Unilorin to West African University games. I played for teams outside school in Ilorin and also an amateur team in Lokoja. I played at different times for different amateur team in Lagos and Abuja. Went for few trials in Europe like in Belgium, Italy, and other places, but settled for a 4th division side in Spain before I got a bad injury.
I hope this explains why I can talk and know football to a good extent.
Asides all of these, I watch lots of football, I’m not sure there are few people who can match the number of games I watch. I also consume lots of football-related contents. Documentaries, podcasts, listening to ex-players especially.
When you invest so much time in all of these, talking football will just be the easiest thing to do. I hope I answered well.
