There is no nobility in poverty.

Two robots on the floor😮 One still standing Guess which one did it

11:39:47, office CCTV It crouches, it lunges, and four seconds later it's strolling across the room like nothing happened

This is what happens between a biopsy and a diagnosis

Each one of those curls is about five microns thick Fifty of them stacked would be as thick as a sheet of paper.

The tissue is set in wax, the blade takes one slice per turn of the wheel, and the slices come off stuck together in a ribbon - so the order is never lost They float onto water to flatten out, get lifted onto glass, stained, and put under a microscope

This is the step between a biopsy and a diagnosis.

Amazing view

If I go missing, Apple did it

This little magnet turns any USB-C port into MagSafe Snap, done The thing Apple deleted in 2016 and charged us five years of broken screens and cracked hinges to get back - and someone just sells it for pocket change

I'm posting this and switching my phone off.

[Woka @0xWoka]

someone leaked footage of a guy using AI to build a mechanical robot arm that brute-forces stolen phones and i am NOT okay

the arm physically presses every 6-digit combo. methodical. patient. never gets tired. all 10k combos if it HAS TO

but the ACTUALLY insane part: phones block after 10 failed attempts, right? classic safety net. he connected the phone to a PC and used AI to locate and PATCH the fail counter in the firmware. Live, in real time

the counter just... disappears. phone has no idea it failed 600 times already

so now you have an unstoppable physical robot AND a phone that forgot it's supposed to stop you

this is why "10-attempt lockout" is pure theater if someone has a 3D printer, a weekend, and Claude

[Woka @0xWoka]

Phones in 2030 are going to look insane

You can see his hand straight through the screen The apps are just floating there on a pane of glass

Transparent displays already exist - LG shipped a see-through TV, Samsung and Xiaomi have both shown transparent panels What nobody has solved is the part behind the screen: the battery, the board, the cameras All of it is opaque, and all of it has to go somewhere

So no, you can't buy this yet But look at it and tell me it isn't where phones are heading

[Woka @0xWoka]

This is the hardest thing in robotics, and it's doing it for ice cream Not walking Not lifting

Scooping - judging how deep to push into cookie crumble, how much sticks, when to stop Every scoop is a different resistance, and the hand has to feel it, not calculate it
The glowing ring on the palm is it reading pressure in real time Five fingers Loose crumbs No spillage Somebody's first robot-made sundae is happening in that steel tray

[Woka @0xWoka]

Someone taught it to make faces Now it won't stop

Above the chin it's a face Below the chin it's a grey plastic neck you can see straight through

That gap is the whole video The eyebrows move The eyelids move The nostrils flare and the cheeks bunch up - every muscle group a human face has, running on servos behind a silicone skin, at a trade show, in front of people who came to look at something else

The caption from whoever built it: "don't teach a robot to pull faces. Seriously, don't."

[Woka @0xWoka]

N0 code! NO teach pendant! NO waypoints!

The frame on his arm reads every joint angle he moves through and pushes it straight into the robot across the table - and pushes force back into his arm when the robot touches something He isn't controlling a machine He's borrowing one

This is how you get a robot to do a thing nobody wrote a program for

[Woka @0xWoka]

Look at the eyes for five seconds before you scroll

Nothing happens No smile, no speech, no demo And that nothing is what took the longest to build - the team calls it a Neural Reflex Model: the eyes never fully freeze, attention drifts, blinks don't fire on a timer, and the brows move a fraction every time it blinks

Their finding: the hardest human thing to fake isn't laughing or crying It's looking alive while doing nothing

No skin on it yet Just forty servos and one silicone lip

[Woka @0xWoka]

1800 → 2100: the machine describes itself
Every frame is AI-generated - including the years that already happened

Watch 1875 look like something that never existed, 1975 arrive a decade late, and 2085 turn into a chrome face with blue eyes The model isn't recalling history It's recalling what we drew about history

The last twenty seconds are the interesting part

Leg day at the mall entrance
His wife said "five more minutes" forty minutes ago.

No gym membership. No excuses. Just a concrete bench outside Adidas and a man who has run out of things to scroll.

Your garden will have more sensors than your car!!!!!!!

Future Agriculture: AI in the Field

Soil probes read moisture, temperature and crop health in real time. Drones map the field and spray only where it's needed. Autonomous machines plant, weed and harvest around the clock.

Less water, less chemical input, higher yield - from sensors instead of guesswork.

what in the actual F*CK is TECNO building

modular phone. MWC. rail guides machined into the back panel copper contact pads, and a telephoto lens module with a gold rim that just snaps on like you're loading a camera

the side profile has ridges, stepped layers. It looks like a transformer mid-morph

Google killed Project Ara in 2016, everyone called modular phones a dead idea. TECNO didn't get that memo

the booth was packed, visitors with badges and phones out, all filming, nobody saying much, just watching a budget-tier handset turn into a camera rig in about 3 seconds

the scariest part: it worked, cleanly, no wobble on the module, no app crash, just..... a different phone

China keeps building the thing the West announced, demoed, and quietly abandoned

[Woka @0xWoka]

Elon's FACE, shin height... tilting toward you slow

flesh-colored skin stretched over a Boston Dynamics frame, walking in tight little loops behind glass.. Just the pack of them, silent, obedient, doing exactly what they were built to do

an artist put the richest men on earth inside machines designed to follow orders

and called it a "portrait series"

i've stared at a lot of AI commentary this year. charts, threads, hot takes, doom posts

none of it landed like watching a billionaire's face approach you at knee level and then turn away on command

the scariest part the uncanny valley.

no way Cursor just launched its own GitHub and the timing is not a coincidence

Cursor Origin went into early beta on August 17, the same day GitHub had a 4-hour outage.

built specifically for a world where AI agents commit way more than humans do – AI-agent PRs went from 4M/month to 17M/month in six months.

what's different:

automated merge-conflict resolution built for parallel agent workloads
two-way GitHub sync – PR comments, commits, and file diffs sync both directions in real time
NVMe-backed file servers, S3 as source of truth
claims 22.6 commits/sec, sub-400ms global sync (not yet independently verified)
CLI to clone existing repos or push straight to Origin

catch: available on Pro/Teams/Enterprise only, not free plans. and if you're syncing an existing GitHub repo, GitHub stays the actual source of truth – Origin isn't a full replacement yet.

worth watching given Cursor is now a fully owned SpaceX subsidiary as of Aug 14.

a wall of pink fiber optics, floor to ceiling, dense enough to swallow the rack labels behind it

that's not a cable management disaster. that's what a 100G internal network looks like at the exact moment it goes live

full 100G data plane. 40G management layer sitting on top of it. ports loaded. green indicators already blinking through the curtain of optics before the room is even sealed

most people walk past this and see a cabling job

the people who built it see 40Gbps headroom on the control path before a single packet of production traffic hits

the scariest part: this rack was cold 72 hours ago

[Woka @0xWoka]

walk into a Huawei datacenter in 2025

black portal. red LED frame. the logo glows like something you're not supposed to be looking at

behind it: cold corridor, perforated floor tiles, yellow warning signs on every door.. then open racks, blue and yellow patch cords, green link lights blinking in sync

final shot: rows of transceivers behind mesh. teal and orange fiber, routed horizontal, clean as surgery. blue modules on every level. not a cable out of place

the West spent 4 years trying to bury this company

this is what they built instead

An Indian physicist put the entire logic of statistical mechanics on one chalkboard: how microscopic randomness turns into predictable reality.

he is V. Balakrishnan, and his lecture went viral years after he recorded it. it has been free the whole time. almost nobody outside physics has watched it.

lecture one is the humblest thing in all of physics. a few particles, a little probability, and the rules that make enormous systems predictable. that is the entire idea.

the lecture above is the one framework for what happens when randomness gets repeated millions of times. not one particle. the whole system.

that same idea is behind gases, heat, entropy, and statistical mechanics. tiny random events, repeated an enormous number of times.

the whole machine fits on his board, and he charged nothing for it.

no slides. no notes. one professor and a stick of chalk.

a physicist I know says this old Indian lecture taught him statistical mechanics better than years of memorizing formulas.

the lecture is free. the equations are free. the only thing left to earn is understanding.

14 monitors.

Japanese candles wall to wall. Order books stacked six deep. A grey-haired guy in a white tee walking the length of his desk like he owns a trading floor.

Then he stops.

Picks up a pen. Writes something by hand in a spiral notebook sitting right on top of his keyboard.

Not Notion. Not Obsidian. A paper notebook with a spring binding

Bro pause right there.

Look left of the keyboard. Stream Deck, glowing. Ring light on a tripod. Mic on a pantograph arm.

This man is streaming himself trade.

14 monitors of live data. Calculators. Sticky notes. A mug with someone's photo on it. Every surface is a signal.

And the one thing he won't put on screen is the notebook.

That's the tell.

Everyone watching sees the setup and thinks: trading operation.

Nobody sees the ring light and thinks: media company.

The monitors are the hook. The stream is the product. The notebook is the edge he keeps.

He figured out that 10,000 people watching him trade is worth more than most of the trades themselves.

The alpha stays on paper. The audience scales forever
